Banty's Roost Golf and Country Club - Blue/White

It took me 4 hrs. and 45 minutes to finish the game.

There was no Marshal.

Very poor layout of the course.

Course was a catastrophe from overgrown fairways and burnt greens plus it kinda sucks trying to putt when your being soaked by the sprinklers as they water the greens during your round. Too bad this place used to be decent but the place is gone way down hill 65 beans to essentially play a goat track with unmarked paths that lead you astray from your next tee box empty ball washers in truth too many issues to name here save your dough play somewhere where they mow the fairways and kind of care just a little bit.

I overheard a grounds keeper advise a couple to "take a drop if the ball goes into the bunker" , many of the green side bunkers had weeds growing in them.

The place is in need of serious make-over and should definitely not be on GOLFNOW.

I do not know my handicap but scored 86.

It was my first time using Golfnow and I was not impressed. The course was in rough shape and hard to navigate through.

Stay away, course was in terrible shape, is laid out poorly and has very little maintenance.

We were able to grab a last minute deal, and that makes the course appealing. Regular rates for the course are far too high for the shape that it is in when compared to other courses. The fairwarys were in decent shape, but the sandtraps are full of weeds, probably due to this year's excessive rain. The men's tees seem to have been pushed back quite a bit, so you can't depend on the yardage on the scorecard. I still like the course for the variety of holes, but they need to come up with some more equitable regular rates if they want to draw back players.

This is the first time I played at this course. It is an old course. It is not easy to find because the sign has faded and the entrance is hidden. The green fee is reasonable. The club house and pro shop are simple and basic.They provide basic sandwiches and beverages. The course was well maintained. We played the Blue and White courses. They were challenging but fun to play. Although there were quite a few tournaments, we were able to play at good pace. It would be great if they would allow people to drive the cart to the their cars to load and unload their clubs. It is quite a walk to carry the clubs to the pro shop back and forth. There was no sign for where the cart could enter and exist. It would help if signs were there to avoid getting a lecture from the marshal.

Payed for a cart on golf now and when we got there they said no carts available

They said they attempted to call and inform ius of the car issue but no calls where received

I love Banty’s Roost, friendly staff and affordable rates considering the conditions and maintenance are great!
