Banty's Roost Golf and Country Club - Blue/White

I always thought getting to the course early was a good thing - In nearly 50 years of playing golf I've never been told to come back and pay at my tee time - just curious what that's all about.. Also in the pro shop great you are hiring older gents that are probably working in their retirement but they shouldn't really make you feel like you are putting them out. I'm only speaking about the pro shop here. A smile and a proper greeting is always appreciated. Customer service is seriously lacking here.

Course is in early season shape and there was still some snow on the outer ends of some of the holes. Greens were rolling slow which is understandable given the time of year. Only the white tee boxes were available.

Today’s play was good.Staff was good too.but some of staffs should have proper customer service traning.

Nice golf course over all.

Blistering heat and no beverage cart at 2pm absolutely ridiculous. I had to wait 9 holes to round back and get a drink, if beverage cart is coming in early let your customers know. Absolutely livid with this place today , then your girl serving drinks outside no character or personality at all. Won’t be back to this course for a while got me too vexed off today

Played it only because it was a hot deal $42 all in a great deal, everyday price is $10-15 too much

Always enjoy playing here. Pace of play is always great which is first thing I look for when picking somewhere to go. The variety in the 3 9 hole courses is good with White being the hardest and the nicest.

Pro shop was very disorganized. Poor value for the money.

My friends and I decided to play a round on Father’s Day and decided on Banty’s Roost. It was a fairly hot and humid day so we would expect to see the cart girl out on the course. We did not see her once. And when we asked about it at the club house. The server said “well you’re seeing her now” pointing at her at the clubhouse. We asked if we would see her out on the white course as we were going to start there next. She said “for sure”. Did not see her once.

As for the pace of play, we started the front 9 on the Blue course. It took us almost 2hrs to play 4 holes. Waiting about 20mins at each tee box. Again like the cart girl, the course Marshall was nowhere in site. I called the pro shop and was told he was out there. Well apparently not on the blue course nor did we see him at all on the white course as well. We actually just left the blue course after 4 holes and headed over to the white course as we were told it was open.

Needless to say, I would steer clear of this course. So many other course at the same price point that has way better service and condition. Btw. I would have given the course and zero rating on course condition but the greens were in decent shape. I would not recommend this course to anyone.
