Worst pro shop experience ever. We arrived 40 minutes before our time and had to line up. Only 1 guy was taking money. The 2 others there were standing there doing nothing. I wanted to pay and was told I was too early to pay. went back 20 minutes later and still could not pay. We finally got to pay when it was out tee time. After we drove to first tee and had to wait. I tee time here is not the time you tee off. This is a VERY unorganized golf club.
We will not be back. Only good thing was I hit a 310 yd drive on the last hole.
starter upgrades required
they need a starter at each nine who knows what to do
Nice course, too crowded for 1st day of the season ;)
I know I am complaining, but after having paid 65 bucks for 18 holes, range fees on a wet course, the pace was pretty slow. So my partners and I gave up after 15 holes.....Nice course, but perhaps due to the early season enthusiasm, they over booked?
Either way, it was a fun day out, hope you guys had a good tome too Enzo and Matt :)
Ok course
The course was ok. But busy. The staff seemed overwhelmed. Course was good for the beginning of the year. Staff was rude to my party. And no marshall to keep the game going.
Not recommend to GolfNow players
Staff friendliness-none
Course condition-bad
Not worth for $ paid
Poor everythIng
Heard that this course was decent, so my friend and I went. We were a little late cause we couldn't find the place, and the guy made sure we understood that we were late make a scene.
The place was jam packed with ppl.
We had a 3 some in front of us who liked to do 10 practice swings before hitting a ball, and if it went in the bush they we're gone looking for it, slowing the pace of the game right down. We left after the 8th hole cause we have been there 3.5 hours. If the place is as busy as it was they should have marshalls out making sure the game is going quick. Also I know it's the beginning of the year. But being a "country club" they need to clean up there property. Huge pile of tree trimmings on the course, beer cans every where. Just not a clean course. Yes it's early but if your open, have people cleaning up the course so it's presentable.
Won't go back again. Unfortunately lost out on 10 holes but gained the info that this place needs to be cleaned up.
What you'd expect
First time at bantys and had a blast with the nice spring weather. Booked through golfnow and got it for about 35 after fees, etc. Walking rate. Value for the money was there when comparison shopping, overall a solid spring course to play.
Great Course
I've played this course many time in the last few years. The course conditions have always been top quality, considering the obstacle's the maintenance department have to endure.
The proshop staff on the other hand, a smile wouldn't kill them, and some manners would do them all some good. The food sold at the patio is somewhat lacking. Not much on the menu except hamburgers, hot dogs or sausage. I have yet to see a menu with other options.
What a pa-rick
Nothing like going out on a beautiful day, minding your own business and still getting complained at. The Course is separated into 3 nine hole rounds. We were a 2 some playing at a pretty decent rate though 3 holes until we met up with a 6 some. We returned to the clubhouse to grab a drink and then head back out. Upon returning to the course we walked by 2 people working on the course and proceeded to hit from the first hole. After both of our drives the person working at the course came out and started yelling at us for going to the wrong 9, which we had just made on honest mistake. After starting number 10 the man came out again and asked how long it usually takes to do 18 holes and complain rudely about how long it is taking to do our round. Its took us 3 hours 45 minutes to walk 18 with people in front of us. This place sucks if you want to have a good time. They are going to put them selves out of business.
Staff Friendliness
I pre-paid green fee and power cart for 11:50 a.m. tee time on Mar. 23, 2017 through Golfnow. A staff in pro-shop didn't give me power cart and was very rude. I won't go to this course in the future.
No Thank you
I was surprised this course had a driving range. But it did. Pretty poor layout, terrible condition (keep in mind I played it in December). Staff were friendly but there wasn't any amenities.
Terrible Staff friendliness.
Tee time was 11:40,
But there was raining, therefore I told to staff that I would like to wait one more hour before to make decision to cancel it or to play.
One hour later, still raining but it was better than before. Therefore, I told to the staff that I will play.
But, the staff told me that it looks like raining all day.
So, he told me that will close the course at 2:30.
I thought that his decision was too late to me.
I drove more than 30 minite to there.
I told to him, I will play.
But, he gave me only 1hour 30 minutes to play.
And also, he threatened me, you will be stuck at parking lot if you can not coming back until 2:30.
(will close the gate)
I was very upset, but I played golfing roughly 9 hole.
It was around 2:20, and the rain was stopped, completely.
I called to Golfnow and I explained about happenings.
Golfnow promised to give me the promotion code for next booking.
It was terrible day.
I had never seen staff like that, ( He was maybe owner.)
The tee time, I booked, was hot deal.
It's not his money,
he did't care the money Golfnow, I think.
Fall Golfing
Golf all summer with cart and latest change to green fee without cart was not a welcoming move for most golfers.. check the small prints
skins
Nice lay out .quite abit of forgiveness out ot tee boxes but fun to score if you hit your shots somewhat straight. .it's okay to play blue if you a 15 handicap. Just enough trees but still easy to find your ball when off course..all in all a fun course to play.
..
Apple Season
Great day at Banty's last week. Good condition, very nice staff, not too crowded. Some fairway water hazards placed on the white course right at my driving distance caused a few lost balls but added to the difficulty.
5+ hour rounds
They booked 3 groups to start at 8:00 am and would not let us start on different courses.
Pace of play was extremely slow. It was a wait at the tee box, then a wait in the fairway to get on the green for almost every hole.
There were lots of hard patches on the fairway that felt like hitting off concrete.
The greens were in fair condition.
I've played this course many times, as it's just down the street from me but paying $68 for a round is not worth it at all. There are plenty of courses around here that give better value done over book.
I don't think I'll be playing there again.
Go to course
Better than average course, in good conditon despite the lack of rain this summer, greens, fairways and teesboxes all in good shape, reasonably priced, not overbooked like some courses. A fun course to play for the average golfer or even a beginner. Not overly difficult but still a good test of your golfing skills.
The staff is not nice also the course is not maintained well.
So not worth of the money.
