OVERPRICED
Disappointed - the greens were bumpy and slow. Took us 51/2 hrs to play! Overpriced! Beware-if you want to book this course the cost of the cart rental is ridiculous- the most I have ever paid!! Will never play again! Lucky I had some golfnow discounting or the price would have been 170!
Good Conditions for the Price
Very friendly staff and course conditions at the time were great. I was apprehensive because of a lot of negative reviews regarding dry tee boxes, horrible fairways etc… but that was not my experience. Great value for the money.
good practice
Okay value for the mid week practice round , course conditions and layout not good.
We are surprised at your comment as the white and red courses can certainly challenge a 10-14 handicap. The courses are also in the best condition for years .
Worth the $50 round
You know what you’re signing up for at a course that charges this price. I honestly think most of the reviews on here are overly harsh. Staff were extremely nice even on a terrible rainy day. Course played well and considering how much rain there was the greens actually shed water very well. The rough is long but the fairways are big enough to land a 747 so if you’re off you have other problems than the rough. Fun round for a cheap price.

Good course for the money you pay however , the price of a cart is ridiculous I will never go again
Pleasant surprise
Banty's was in pretty good shape for early in the season. The waist-high fescue was trimmed and pace of play was excelkent.
A few places were wet with all the rain we've had, but fairways were fine, the greens drained well and actually were dry, though needed a cut.
The Hot Deal made it an excellent early year round to walk. Don't expect Eagle's Nest quality, but Banty's price point makes sense to work on your game.
Considering the time of year the greens were pretty nice. Will be a nice course to play, with the New management running things and has the potential to bel to one of the better courses to play.. only time will tell.

We are sorry to hear your negative feedback. While we apologize for the slow round, I should note that Monday was a holiday and the busy day of the year so far for GTA courses . We had Marshall on the course and take pace of play very seriously. As far as the slow greens the course has received a lot of rain and that has resulted in the course playing a little softer than normal . There is new management at Bantys Roost and the course is in the best condition in years. There have been significant upgrades and changes and the consistent recent positive reviews (except yours ) show the improvements.
