Nice greens
Booked a twilight round with a friend thing 70 bucks is not bad at all for a 2 person get there and have to pay another 35+ tax and kart for green fees so I could not cancel because I was already there really nice course tho

Course Conditions
There was no starter, I played this course before, no improvement on signs to the next hole. The course fairways very hard and dry though the putting greens are in good condition.
Pace of play was very slow for the first six holes 8 to 10 mins wait , the Marshall came by and assisted, back nine pace was much better. No drink cart on 35 degree hot day.

Had to walk because carts were not available due to some tournament. It was so hot, that had to skip three holes.

No info on whether tees are front middle or back, need a range finder to play as the yardage markers/scorecard aren’t all

No access to cart rentals
We had difficulty getting a cart because the Golf Now site does not have access to the cart booking. The carts have to be pre-booked which was also not explained on the site. The pace of play was dreadfully slow taking a full two hours more than what we normally play. The people were friendly and the course was in OK shape but greens a little slow.

Mayfield golf Course
I booked to play 18 holes of golf through golfnow walking when I was checking in I requested to pay for a golf cart the lady said all carts where booked there was over 40 carts parked out front we played the first 9 as we where passing the club house I noticed there was still over 30 parked carts we went back to the same lady and asked if we could pay for a cart to play the back 9 again she said they where all booked after the game back at the club house there was still over 20 carts parked l am 71 years old it was 31 degrees outside my friend and I both seniors where not in good shape after this round so we will never play this Course again.

We are so grateful to get a tee time this early at Mayfield Golf Club compare to some of the other courses and price was amazing too. I highly recommend it to friend who just started playing golf So to improve their game should come and enjoy this course

Great golf course
Mayfield is my home course and I've played about 50 rounds there over the past few years. Always in great condition and the staff are friendly. Good value for the money and although carts are hard to come by this year because of Covid measures, it's not too bad of a walk. Offers a good combination of challenging holes but isn't punishing. Pace of play can be a bit slow sometimes, but that's to be expected given how busy the course can be at times. Would definitely recommend.

Awesome experience
Upon late arrival, course staff was understanding and friendly. Cart wasn't available, but pull carts were given for free because of this. Course supervisor Matt introduced himself and welcomed us to the course, was extremely friendly and checked in with us multiple times throughout the round, giving tips and cracking jokes, awesome guy. Pace of play was somewhat slow, round took over 5 hours. Beer is expensive, but greens and fairways are maintained very well. Overall great experience, will likely be back.

Not good bit it is golf.
I am a scratch golfer. This course is short, very poorly designed and a couple holes that make no sense. Great for beginners who have been leaning an the range. Please learn how to hit the ball before you play anywhere. Just for the single reason mayfield was like $25. I would play it again. You play separate nines. It is not organized well. Use the course book and a maps. Great place to bring the kids and or you girlfriend
