Very Nice Course, Slow Play
Course is in very good condition. First nine (North) moved along nicely, but on back nine (East) got stuck behind this very slow foursome. Had to eventually skip a hole to get our game moving. No marshall around to tell them we are playing through. Not sure if they even have marshalls here. Did not see any all game.
One of my favourite tracks. Some shorter holes, but always picturesque.
Played South - East. This course pays attention to detail and offers something to golfers of all abilities. It is well-organized and has a great layout.
Beautifully maintained course.
Very well maintained golf course. The area around the greens are very well maintained allowing for good chipping close to the green. Greens in outstanding shape.
Excellent Surprise
Got an excellent deal and the coruse is very walkable. There is a mix of difficult holes with several good scoring opportunites with short par 3's and some short par 4's. Accuracy is needed though if you get tempted to go for the par 4's or the par 5's in two trouble is easy to find. The course is in excellent condition and I was very pleased with the greens. Will definately return to this course as it is also very playable for my wife from the ladies tee.
The course generally was in excellent condition
The course generally was in excellent condition, one or two greens need more attention. Mosquitoes and black flies were a bit of a nuisance on most holes. One of the better Knaneff courses i have played.
Great value for the buck!!
The course was in great shape for so early in the season. We played late afternoon on the 1st day of a long weekend and there was only a few other groups playing golf which made the pace of play quite fast.
Great value at Carlisle!
Carlisle has something for everyone depending on the tee blocks you play from! Great value and friendly staff make it a great round of golf!
Great course. Marshalls need to do betetr and getting players moving.
Tee'd off at 11:15 wasnt done till 4:45. Didnt bother me too much as I had nothing going on that day. But on any other day it would have been pretty annoying. People were playing extremely slow and not letting others play through.
Other then that the course is great and would 100% return.
Awesome - in great shape and a pleasure to play
Always great when we come here, this past weekend the weather on Sunday was near perfect and the course was fabulous, not too busy and just the right pace of play, will be back again very soon
A pretty good day
Three and a half stars - overall pretty good really, except the greens needed rolling, and were bare in a number of spots. Plus the Canada Geese messing on the south course!!
played south- east well kept
good condition, moderately hard , three courses to choose from staff friendly, but can be pricey
Good condition for spring golf.
The course was in good condition, but there were still some unrepaired divots from last season. The greens were fairly slow, but I will attribute that to spring conditions. Overall, it was an enjoyable round.
The course was in good shape for early spring and the pace of play was great.
I really enjoyed this course, I am a 20 handicap and felt the course was challenging but not overly so. Good mix of long and short holes not a lot of danger, but good placement of traps to capter wayward shorts.
The greens were very poor.
we were disappointed in the quality of the greens - uneven and inconsistent. Otherwise it is a great course. Good staff - very friendly and helpful.
Good challange for a wide range of handicapers
Considering N that we played in mid November the course was in good shape. The staff were friendly and helpful . The North course is quite tight and demands accuracy while the South is a little more open but has several holes that you have to carry over water.
average course fun to play, well priced. Good value
fun course for the average golfer, challanging from the Blue tees. Very good value, course in great shape even in mid November!
Good time
This course is not overly difficult and made for a fun day.
well maintained course
The course has three nines. The most challenging is the North, next is the South, with the East playing the friendliest. I enjoy the North, South combo the most. It's mostly tree lined, with some out of bounds fences along the way. It obviously requires a straight game, especially from the blues. There are plenty of bunkers to get your attention and the greens can be quite tricky depending on the pin placements. Overall a very nice track.
great play for this time of year...not too many leaves
great value for money this time of year..greens were airated, thus very uneven.
