Amazing Greens
All I can say is that you will have a hard time finding better greens even when it’s July. The greens at Dragons Fire are some of the best I’ve ever played and it’s only March. And I’ve been a member at Galt Country Club where their greens are second to none. Wow!! Keep it up greens keeper. You’re top notch!!
Incredibly fast greens for this time of year
Dragon Fire never seems to miss when it comes to opening up for the season and having their course in really good shape with super fast greens right out of the gate. Staff at the front are super professional, polite and efficient. I love the course and its layout, I just can never score well enough there.... LOL
The great course
The fairway design is challenging and the bunkers and water hazards give the golfers a lot of fun.
Molasses
Thursday afternoon in March, 5.5 hour round. Did I mention got to pay $110 to play in March aswell?!?….total rapists, hopefully as more course s open you find an empty Dragons Lair. Also, washroom facilities are far better at Woodstock 99…….and 1969 for that matter…
Clubhouse Bully
Guy in the clubhouse Saying he’s never rented three carts to a group of 4 before On a cartpath only day.. And they never do that at any other course. I booked for three people, The single Rider Had already rented a cart before we got there & headed for the first T. One of my group had to pair with him and walk With his clubs to the first tee, which is pretty far away and ride with him. Then the guy in the clubhouse comes out and starts flexing his chest, saying all golf courses do this.
Nice course but slow pace
Went to play Dec 15th 1205pm tee time, we got there with a 30min frost delay then they packed the course and the pace was so slow we left after the first 9, not sure if we would have got 18 in teeing off at 1230ish after the delay, said we paid $80 for 9 holes of winter golf
Pricey
First time playing this course. Fairway conditions were not bad, but the greens were aerated not too long ago and still have a lot of sand on it.
Very friendly staff at the pro shop but very pricey for this time of year. Golf plus cart plus tax is over $100!
Very disappointed with the amenities or lack of. Being over $100 to play in December and there is no washrooms, just 1 porta potty outside and it was disgusting !Nowhere to wash your hands or wet a towel.
Nothing special about this course other than it’s overpriced
