Conestoga Golf and Country Club - Village/Moors

don't think twice about playing here. Great all around especially considering the heat wave thats been smashing the area for weeks. Going back asap..

The course was not in the greatest of shape. Leaves were left all over the fairway on the first hole. Making it difficult to find your ball. Very poor signage around the course making it difficult to know where the next tee box was. The cart path is almost non existent. Half the time you're driving on wood chips. The greens were probably the best part of this experience. Pretty soft but fast. A little small but solid condition. Parts of the fairway were either hard like cement or the grass was dead. The layout was good. A few holes with a serious dogleg which made it more difficult. Was not a fan of the starter person. Kinda rude and wasn't very helpful. Just kept making pointing gestures. Overall I was pretty disappointed. It has potential to be a good course if management could fix these problems.

Despite heat and lack of rain, the course looks and plays great!

but scared to play golf this course again

The course was in wonderful shape. Pace of play was a bit slow initially but was better on the second nine. It was All around a great day!

Very scenic on the Village holes with the river running throughout the 9 holes. Course was in very good shape considering how dry it has been and the greens ran very true. The course is a little short for our liking but a great test for your short game on the Village 9. Other than the very warm temperatures it was an enjoyable day, staff was excellent and it was very nice to see the beer cart out....lifesaver in that heat.

A great day on the course and people were friendly. Weather was great and course was in great shape.

There seems to be an issue with how golf now is shown on their system. I had booked 18 holes and they only showed 9 holes on their system. No big deal but i thought I'd inform you.

Played Moors and then Goose run 9’s. Pace was slow on the front 9 but better on the back. Course was in good shape and greens rolled well. Well handled and setup for the Covid situation.

Great course as always. I typically enjoy the original 18 holes but the Moore’s is pretty decent and offers a different look. Fairways are trimmed really short and the rough is fairly easy to hit out of. The greens are nice and hard, roll fairly fast and you can get a bit of spin reaction off them.

Great staff that were very friendly. We asked for a nicer golf cart because we always end up with duds at other courses and the cart guy gave us a really nice gas cart. Must have been a vip cart that came with all the bells and whistles. . Totally cool dude.
