Golf Buddies
Met my golf buddies midway as one lives in Paris, two in Cambridge and I live in Peterborough, Ontario. Great get together. Enjoyed the Moors Links style 9 but found Goose Run a bit tight for my liking but overall had a good time. Only complaint was the bumpy greens, but think it had been aerated recently.
Covid19 protocol could be better. No plastic separation on the carts and single player price was overpriced.
Nice course.
Nice course. Flat, not too tough but you need to hit good tee shots. Greens were in very good shape and fast. Staff was very nice.
Busy, busy course at 4pm on a Saturday.
Beginning to love this course
Another great round here. The front 9..of water hazards and going over the grand, I'm becoming to love.
Tee boxes need some work as are starting to show being beat up.
Everytime I've been here , have been on Moore's and Village mines. Want to play the goose.course to see how it is but seems that they never let public play on that 9.
Course is till great and its neat to play with the houses in the neighbourhood. I wouldn't want to be a home owner around the course.
Too bad Covid has limited the activities at the course as the area bar, locker room, look amazing.
Shot lowest score of the year this day and will be back to lower even.more
Will be back again
Unusual day
I have played this course over 18 times this season. Usually I have a great time golfing. This time was not so great. I received very poor service from a few different marshals. The manor in which I was spoken to is absolutely ridiculous. This from two different marshals. Further more a third marshal sitting next to us as our cart was struck by a ball from the player behind us with us in the cart did nothing. I paid money just like everyone else and I felt as though my friend an I were not being treated with the respect that we deserve as a paying player. All in all I will return to the course and if I am spoken to in that way again I will come directly to management onsite and ask for refund. As I am playing the game to get better and enjoy some time with friends. Not to be spoken to rudely and treated less then. Thank you.
First Time playing
I have been admiring this course for a while and have just never been able to get timing right. Wait was worth it.
Staff very friendly upon arrival amd informative for us first time visitors.
Early morning tee time and course was in good conditions. Greens were a bit slow at the start but you had to adjust as the day went on.as they dried out. Front 9 made you think (Village) . Thank goodness had GPD and a twosome that had played here before. With the hazards strategically placed, hole management is needed and makes you think on club selection.
Back nine ((Moore) is less developed and less challenging but still a good mine to play.
Being a first time visitor, definitely would recommend better signage to show holes and where to go, as we got lost a couple of times.
Overall a great course and was in good condition. Would also recommend larger spacing between groups as front nine was backed up to the point that some groups would skip holes to speed up the backlog.
Sad at some of the etiquette of players as we were hit into repeatedly from groups behind us, to the point had a ball roll between my legs on a fairway. Also had a group steal one of our groups balls. 2 minor issues and both were with the younger 20 crowd that put a damper on a round that I was really looking forward to.
I will definetly be back as am looking forward to playing the other 9 that I did not get to try.
