Flamborough Hills Golf and Country Club - Lakes/Hills
About
Tucked away in quiet Copetown, Flamborough Hills Golf & Country Club offers 27 holes of championship golf. The club features three unique nines that are played in three different 18-hole combinations, each of which offer plenty of variety from one another. Originally opened in 1961 under the name Windsor Park, the Hills and the Woods golf courses formed the original 18-hole course at Flamborough Hills Golf & Country Club. The Lakes nine was added in 1994. When combined with the Hills nine, the two provide a challenging round with plenty of water and elevation changes. The landscape is covered with mature trees and abundant in native wildlife, giving golfers a scenic complement to their game.

5 groups on one hole and not a Marshall in sight.
We followed a mini tournament. Tees were backed up with every tee having more than one group on it. One par 4 had 5 groups on it. The players were all drunk and hitting balls all over the place. We're almost hit 3 times. We did not see a Marshall the whole time and finally left after 14 holes. Very disappointing.
Not a good experience
I was quite disappointed in the shape of the golf course. The fairways were parched, brown and spotty at best. Some of the greens were aerated already...didn't know that til you were on them. Pace of play was slow.
Overall the quality of the golf course was not very good at all compared to others I've played recently.
greens are in very good condition, can't say the same about the fairways which have either been hit with disease or they've been allowed to fry this year in the summer heat resulting in patchy turf. Over all an O.K. course and I'm glad I played it walking in a 4-some under 4 hours.
Great experience!
First time here. It is a 27 hole public club. The staff were efficient and friendly, the course was in great condition (not withstanding the recent hot dry weather) and the food was great!
I will definitely be back!
Decent Track, Would Give It Another Go
This hasn't been my favourite of the new courses I have tried this year. Nothing wrong with it at all - far from it. There are 3 x 9 hole courses, with the two we played well laid out and in good condition, but they were also nothing to really stand out in the memory. We had the misfortune of playing behind a beginner, and very slow, foursome which killed some of the vibe, but I would give this course another try at some point.
Must keep it straight
Course is challenging but keep it on the fairway. If you don't there are lots of trees and you'll be chipping out back into play maybe even backwards :) Overall if you like a challenge Flamborough is the track. From elevated tees and Greens blind shots and undulating greens it has it all.
Flamborough 8-13-20
course needs some maintenance, greens a little rough, fairways not a plush scene needs work. Good layout, makes it interesting. I would go back to play again we played Woods & Lakes this time
Poor fairways
Almost every hole has burnt out and dried out fairways many bald spots. Would not go back.
Overall good round
Went off at 8am, and finished round in under 4 hours. Fairways and greens in good shape, some brown spots on fairways. Not a great layout, but enough nice holes and maintenance to want to come back. Enjoyed the round.
Flamborough Hills A Hit
Well maintained course with scenic vistas. Patio food was incredible. A solid gem.
Decent course
Course could use some care, lots of areas on the course should have been ground under repair. Very brown, greens can be cut and rolled. Good layout though on all nines, but could use maintenance.
