Flamborough Hills Golf and Country Club - Lakes/Hills
About
Tucked away in quiet Copetown, Flamborough Hills Golf & Country Club offers 27 holes of championship golf. The club features three unique nines that are played in three different 18-hole combinations, each of which offer plenty of variety from one another. Originally opened in 1961 under the name Windsor Park, the Hills and the Woods golf courses formed the original 18-hole course at Flamborough Hills Golf & Country Club. The Lakes nine was added in 1994. When combined with the Hills nine, the two provide a challenging round with plenty of water and elevation changes. The landscape is covered with mature trees and abundant in native wildlife, giving golfers a scenic complement to their game.

Golfer Reviews
Course played long with the Wet conditions and U.S. Open rough. Lousy Spring weather has made it a real challenge for maintenance crews .Congrats to the Maintenance Staff for the great job of making the course playable .
Good course
Fair value for the money greens were fertilized slow putting on most greens. Finished 18 under 4 hours fairways were in good shape .
Nice and Dry
With all the rain that we have had the course was dry the greens where great. all in all great day on the course.
Somewhat boring
Course is pretty boring, straight and narrow with lots of hills. Nothing changes from hole to hole aside from distance. No doglegs or anything.
Best course in the area.
This course is a fantastic bang for your buck, easily my favorite course right now.
Overall conditions and the clubhouse are amazing.
My only slight criticism would be the “player assistants” (Rangers?), they just drive around staring at you looking miserable. They only detract from the experience and do nothing but slow down pace of play.
Weekend play very slow
Flamborough is a great course. During the week pace seems good. Weekend golf here can be very slow and they seem to overbook or book tee times too tightly. 15 holes played in 4.5 hours then had to leave. Starter inserted a foursome of hackers in front of us on the turn so we basically had to play the same nine over. Even then it would have been a 5 or 5.5 hr round. Bring your patience and tolerance if you want to play here on the weekend.
Great outing
Our first time playing at Flamborough Hills. We were very impressed by the staff, the course, the facilities and the food. We will definitely return.
Wind ruined a great day
As always, this course provides great value for the money. We played Hills/Woods and despite the heavy wind, there was minimal fallout from trees. The greens were consistent, but on the soft side. The range was closed because a wedding was scheduled for that afternoon, but the practice green is convenient and well taken care of. The pace of play was great considering we had a novice golfer in our group and the group in front of us was having a hard time with the windy conditions. After 9 holes, it was windy enough we could barely hear eachother on the tee block, but decided to continue. After 12 holes, they called everyone off because some trees had fallen on the fairways. We were all credited for 9 holes with a cart, which was a nice gesture. The entire staff from pro-shop, Starter, Marshall and cart girls were all very pleasant. We'll be back again!
Enjoyable
Have played here several times but have not been here in a couple of years.
I always enjoy the layout and the conditions are always good.
The course was extremely busy today and I was expecting a very long day, but it moved extremely well, and we finished in just under 4 hours.
Joke
I’ve come here many times and yesterday will be my last! Customer service isn’t a thing with the whole team from pro shop to the bar! I used to really like this place but I’ll go else where!
Wanna stand and watch people on there phones and be ignored go here!
Great Value
course has been under new management the past few years to my understanding and they have done a great job from tee boxes to fairways to greens. No real complaints at all
Great day
Eight of us enjoyed a fine morning of golf at Flamborough Hills. The course was in great shape. Pace was perfect. We were done in four hours 15 minutes. The staff in the lounge and pro shop were very attentive. We played Hills and Woods. We look forward to playing the course again.
Shocking.
I don't know why I had never played here before. Perhaps because from the road, it looks like a private club.
A very nice clubhouse and well laid out. You enter the pro shop from the parking lot!
There are 27 holes with no houses.Very scenic and a couple of tricky shots required. Not too much water or sand to spoil your day and lots of trees to avoid.
I don't know if it was because the weather was do hot or because it was the long weekend but we teed off at noon and were done by 3. We even hot a replay in on a Saturday.
Every staff member we encountered was very friendly. I look forward to my next round here.
Great Day on course
From friendly staff to delightful owner this course is challenging as well as in great shape and well maintained. Played the Lakes to Hills course but the Woods nine is also fun. Some unique holes and PGA style holes
Rainy day.
The course was not closed but it was a rainy day. The staff in the pro shop were very nice and issued rain checks. Well worth the drive to be treated with respect and consideration.
