Flamborough Hills Golf and Country Club - Lakes/Hills
About
Tucked away in quiet Copetown, Flamborough Hills Golf & Country Club offers 27 holes of championship golf. The club features three unique nines that are played in three different 18-hole combinations, each of which offer plenty of variety from one another. Originally opened in 1961 under the name Windsor Park, the Hills and the Woods golf courses formed the original 18-hole course at Flamborough Hills Golf & Country Club. The Lakes nine was added in 1994. When combined with the Hills nine, the two provide a challenging round with plenty of water and elevation changes. The landscape is covered with mature trees and abundant in native wildlife, giving golfers a scenic complement to their game.

Good place to play at least few times per year
Course was in very good condition.... like many courses rough is thick and quite challenging to escape from, but fairways are wide enough and the course is fair. Worthwhile to play again....
5 hour round
nice course , but waiting on every hole is no fun. over 5 hours to play golf is way too long!!!!!!
Good Track
We played lakes and hills took almost 5 hours. Not quite sure why as everyone says it’s usually quick. The course layout was really enjoyable, a good balance of interesting and challenging holes. Conditions especially the greens were fantastic. Definitely a good bang for your buck.
Pleasant surprise
Hills/woods were nice tracks and surprisingly tough off blues. Greens rolled nice but didn't hold. 453 yd par 4 and 243 yd par 3 were difficult for a 10 handicap. Played in under 4 hrs. Only complaint was bar staff who basically ignored us and told us it would be 30 mins for a sausage; very rude! Starter was very pleasant
Flamtastic
Great track 3 nines not one less then the other
Greens fairways bunkers all in great shape
Enjoyable to play April to October year after year
Decent Track
Hot deal thru Golfnow. Course was in good condition, although the greens were running pretty slow. Rate of play was excellent and a decent enough track with some interesting holes. More than a few holes had no water/solution in ball washers.
cold cold cold
Very cold and windy could not finish back nine lost a bunch of balls in the leaves, great case love laying it
Nice late season round until...
Maybe it’s people that just don’t care about courtesy or any sense of etiquette buts it’s disappointing to come to the 10th Tee and have a group starting their round on that hole while we wait for them, just because they felt like it. Unfortunately the people in the Pro Shop didn’t care either. Maybe they’re members with that type of attitude...but regardless, not a good impression for any golf course
Fantastic
First time playing this course
Was totally enthralled by the condition and overall atmosphere. Everyone was super friendly and the atmosphere was light and positive
Yardage
I had played this course years ago. Apparently I didn't play the Woods nine. Too tight, too many blind shots and holes that should have bells or mirrors, as it's not hard to hit into the group in front of you by mistake. Tee blocks were decent, greens as well. Yardage very poorly marked on the course and the scorecard is not in sinc on either the hole description on the Stones at the tee blocks. This course would definitely be more enjoyable with a GPS or playing it multiple times and knowing where to be. Played the Lakes for the back nine and it was better for average golfer, although the bell or mirror idea would also work for multiple hole on this nine as well. Better deals to be had in the area for the money. Just okay.
not good
first the person that check us had a rotten attitude very condescending. Then they put us behind a small tournament had to wait a leased 5 minutes for every shot, pace suck for a 27 hole course. had to play the same nine to get a good pace not what I payed for. My friend I golf with said he would not be back there
Flamborough Woods-Lakes
Played 18 of the 27 holes in just under 4 hours which is great timing for this course. Entire course was in excellent shape. Fortunately we had a "regular" playing with us which helped with our approach on many of the holes. Staff we met were vey helpful and those in the 19th hole were all delightful. Great facilities. Carts are right beside the bag drop as is the pro shop. Looking forward to playing here again.
