Flamborough Hills Golf and Country Club - Woods/Lakes
About
Located in Copetown, Flamborough Hills Golf & Country Club originally opened under the name Windsor Park in 1961. Since then, another nine, the Lakes nine, has been added and the Woods nines underwent renovations to make the golf course more challenging. In total, the club offers 27 holes of golf. They are divided into three nines that are played in three different 18-hole combinations. The Woods/Lakes course features plenty of water hazards and mature trees. The Woods’ second hole is Flamborough Hills Golf & Country Club’s signature hole. This tricky par-3 features an elevated tee deck and requires a challenging carry over water to a narrow, kidney-shaped green.

Flamborough Hills Golf Course Review
great course to play, we played the lakes and woods and it was super. Well worth the money to play this track.
Great course, great new clubhouse, thoroughly enjoyed!
Flamborough Hills has built a brand new clubhouse in the last couple of years and has improved its course layout and maintenance. A great golf experience at good value.
Fun Course!
Great condition...great value for your money! Fun course for any level of golfer.
The course is weel maintained
Enjoyed our game there. Good pace of play. 18th. hole was shortened, with a temporary green.
Great variations in each of the 3 nine courses!
Kind of disappointed that we were not informed that the 9th hole on the Lakes Course was shortened due repairs? Par 5 to a par 3!
I enjoyed the course but.....
I would suggest there be hole diagrams on the score card for those of us who don't know the course too well. I was a little disappointed that the 18th hole on the Hills(?) was cut in half but I'm sure the work you're doing to it will be an improvement of some kind.
Overall, an excellent experience on the course though. Thanks very much.

Original 18 Hills and Woods
There are 27 holes now. I got to play the original 18 hole course. I say that but there have been many changes to the original 18 that I shouldn't call it that. All of the changes are for the better. The course has fantastic features. There are huge uphill and downhill elevation changes that dicta the type of shot you are going to play, especially if the wind is blowing. All of the holes are tree lined, friendly par 3's with one exception and thats the 244 yrd. 8th if playing from the tips. (198 from white tees) On the back nine they habe probably one of the toughest par 4's that measures 424 yrds. and is a slight dogleg left, trees on the right and a hazzard on the left. The approach shot or your second shot must be in the right position to go for the freen because of this ball catching 40ft. tree guarding the right side of the green 40 yrds out. A 5 on this hole is great, because the green is tough to putt if you do make it in regulation. The woods or back nine of the original is a real test for any golfer.
One of the best golf courses in the area.
Just played this course as a single. The proshop staff were very courteous and directed me to the starter. I was paired with a nice couple who'd played the course five years previous. We were off on the Hills/Woods combination. This facility has three nines of different layouts. The experience off the first tee is a perfect way to start a round. Hitting from an elevated tee to an undulating/tilted fairway! Second shot up to an elevated green off of a tilted lie! Awesome 1st hole. The Hills course was as advertised. The second nine, on the Woods course, was a tree lined parkland style. Generous fairways with lots of trouble if you hook/slice your tee shots. Nice contrast in the nines provided a round that was well worth the price. Course conditions were very good. Greens were well kept and on the fast side. No goofy holes or lapses in course design. Outstanding clubhouse facility. The only limitation is the practice area. The driving range is restricted by property limitation, practice green is fine and represent course greens perfectly. Overall I will now place Flamborough Hills G.C. amongst my "must play" courses in this area! Play this facility and you should not be disappointed.
Good value with discount coupon
Course is improving every year. New tee and green built this year will make the course even better value next year. Clubhouse is new and looks and feels like a private club.
Great course - lots of variety
3 9-hole courses, so lots of variety with hills, woods & lakes.
Well maintained
Not as good as I expected
Because holes are too close to each other, players are crossing over very often and you must be very careful and patient. I'll never go back to this course because of the marshal who ruined my game in the back 9. Even though there was quite a back-up because of a tournament and every group was tailgating, this marshal came up to put pressure on my group twice in a very unfriendly manner even while we were waiting for the foregoing group to get out of the striking distance. He acted like "I'm calling the shots here" and seemed to think a marshal was just supposed to be a push-man. I really wonder if he acted the same way with the other groups who were not from visible minority like our group.
