Flamborough Hills Golf and Country Club - Woods/Lakes
About
Located in Copetown, Flamborough Hills Golf & Country Club originally opened under the name Windsor Park in 1961. Since then, another nine, the Lakes nine, has been added and the Woods nines underwent renovations to make the golf course more challenging. In total, the club offers 27 holes of golf. They are divided into three nines that are played in three different 18-hole combinations. The Woods/Lakes course features plenty of water hazards and mature trees. The Woods’ second hole is Flamborough Hills Golf & Country Club’s signature hole. This tricky par-3 features an elevated tee deck and requires a challenging carry over water to a narrow, kidney-shaped green.

Very poor facilities
Not that the washrooms were not available.....but so irresponsibility neglected. Napkins were empty. Stinking and clogged toilets.
Staff were oblivious to players. Signage around the clubhouse was completely non existent.
Course was average. Too many unfilled divots. Greens were slow.
Nice course, slow day
I play here a few times a year and always enjoy it. Quite a bit of waiting on this particular Sunday though. Bunkers were pretty nasty as well. My one one experience in a greenside bunker was horrible. Trying to hit a regular sand splash did not work out after four tries. The sand was hard as a rock and the club would not enter it.
Overall good experience however the tee decks need some work and the fairways need to be cut. I’ve played here a handful of times and the fairways have never been this shaggy
Slow
I've said it in other reviews. I just don't understand why a round of golf takes 4 hours, 15 minutes or more. This round was 4 hrs, 40 min. I guess the courses don't care or they would do something about it.
There are a few tee boxes that look a little tired, but the course is in pretty good shape. I played the Hills, then Woods and your tee shots need to be fairly straight or you will find the trees on either side. Even though I did my customary repairing of 3 to 4 ball marks on every green, they're still in good shape,. It's too bad golfers don't repair their own ball marks.
Overall, I enjoyed the folks I golfed with and played reasonably well.
First time for everything
First time I’ve played this golf course this year and the greens were a let down. Lots of spots unfortunately and a little furry. It was after a big rain so I understand the furry. It was a little busy with everything going on so they slide a single in front of us at the turn which messed with the flow. Other than that it was decent value.
Worth the buck
I tried this course yesterday and it was a pleasure. The pace of game was a little slow due to ongoing tournament but it was a nice course. Alot of bush though but the fairway and greens were well kept. Will definitely play this course again
Out of reach for an average golfer
A few of the par 4’s should be 5 with a hammer drive from the whites you still can’t make it home in 2. Difficult for an average golfer to hit 200+ to hit the green in regulation from the fairway.
Great Value
Flamborough Hills is one of very few courses in the GTA west that have kept their green fees reasonable. The pace was 4 1/2 hours... about 30 minutes longer than it should be, but this is the accepted standard. Although the tee boxes are somewhat chopped up, the rest of the course is in great condition with fast greens.
Great Day
We got paired up with another twosome and had a great day!
The course was in great shape and the staff was fantastic.
Highly recommend a round at this great track.
