Trillium Wood Golf Club

About
Trillium Wood Golf Club in Corbyville sprawls across 200 acres of mature woodlands. The stately trees enclose nearly every hole, giving each a peacefully secluded feel. Sparkling ponds are scattered throughout the course, coming into play on several holes, and there are also strategically placed bunkers along the greensides. One of the most challenging features of the golf course, however, is the hilly terrain. The course has one of the highest slope ratings in eastern Ontario. The final hole is a par-4 dogleg right that covers a variety of elevation changes. You'll also face a variety of fescue-covered mounds and a well protected green on this tough hole. In addition to the golf course, Trillium is known for offering the region's premier driving range as well as separate training and practice areas.

Gem among courses
Beautiful course. Well maintained. Friendly staff. Some holes a little wet because of all the rain we had, which slowed down play because of carts staying on most of the cart paths. Only complaint was the black flies and mosquitoes. We played late in the day and never had bug spray.
Pace of play was so slow. Not sure if they have marshals or not. I almost walked off due to being so slow. The rate was good. The greens were very chewed up and the service was poor at best...as always. The course layout is great.
Great course
Conditions were great, as always. Even after 20 minutes of hard rain, the course drained well. Greens were in excellent shape.
Best course out there
It the best course out there best value for your money i will be playing this course many times
Great course
Trillium Wood is always top notch. Conditions were excellent. Greens are consistent and smooth. Fairways give you lots of run. The rough is tough but playable. If you have the chance to play it, do so.
Considering what time of year it is....the course was in pretty good shape. It played well. What I didn't like was the cost. 70$ on November 7 for green fees was a bit of a rip off.
Fall conditions
Greens were rough from punching and top dressing.. Pace slow due to lack of marshalling at times. This is a good course but fall maintenance has to be expected..

Thank you for your review. I am sorry that you experienced slow pace, we work hard to ensure each group keeps up to the group in front of them through our Cart GPS system. Our maintenance crew has kept the course in great shape right up until our closing day, greens were punched, yes, but it is a necessary step to help keep the life of the greens over the winter. If you would like to discuss your experience more I would be happy to hop on a phone call to help ensure your next visit is exceptional. Cheers.
Worth playing over and over
Course in nice shape
Marshal did his best to organize everything after frost delay
Wish there was some indoor seating on what started as a cold day
It was ok
course conditions were really good. Greens and faiirways were good. Staff friendliness needs help.
Trillium does not use "on course" marshals. The GPS on the carts is used to track groups and their pace. If a gap opens between groups/carts, the clubhouse will send someone to work the issue. I had it happen yesterday, They came around and explained a slower group had dealt with. Pace really picked up after that.
