The rewards are great and Royal Woodbine's beautifully conditioned fairways and greens make this championship course a real pleasure to play. Just minutes from downtown Toronto on the Mimico Creek Valley, this is one of the area's treasures.

Cold Spring Golf Day
Booked the tee-time using Tee-Off app. Reasonable price. It was cold! The course is very close to Pearson Airport, Canada's largest international airport. Planes flying relatively low are a common experience. During this pandemic, not as much but low
flying! It wasn't busy due to the weather but constant number of players on course. The course is a very good challenge as it requires good tee shots and excellent second shots. There are number of forced carry shots. The course provides an app to help you navigate, too. I used my SwingU app. The tee boxes were in good shape. The course was wet so, it was only cart path for us. That made it a slower day. Fairways were in good shape and so were the greens. However, the bunkers were in terrible shape. Actually closer to hard-packed mud. Not worth trying to hit out of them because skill would not be a factor....only a shovel would have helped. The course doesn't have a driving range. Just two driving nets adjacent to the parking lot.
Great Course, Great Layout, Super close to Toronto
Had a great time playing here. First time.
It's cart only to keep the pace up, however, we were already 30min delayed from the start and the pace was pretty brutal. On top of that, it was cart path only since it's still the start of the season so that slowed things down. Not much you can do.
Great course layout, lost a few balls in the sneaky rivers that cross the fairways.
Planes periodically cross over the course very low and that's either an annoyance or a treat depending on who you are.
Definitely one of those courses you'd want to play twice to know where to lay up and where to punch it.
Aside from the pace of play, it was great. Had a 12:50PM tee time, didn't get on the first tee till 1:25PM and ended the round at 5:50PM. Long day but fun.
Greens..Need to be sprayed ASAP

Great Course
Always a challenging course. The course was in great shape, the tee boxes need a little TLC but it is early in the year and hopefully will improve. Pace of play was a little slow, maybe more marshal intervention to keep pace going.
