Royal
The pace of play was horribly slow. 6 hours to play.
Marshall was extremely rude when asked why we separated from our foursome. He continued to argue with me even when I explained to him 3 times we were never in a foursome and we were sent off as twosome when a third was a no show. It just appeared that way as we were so back up.
Also the red tees at times were not the yardage as stated on the score card...some out by a 100.
Challenging course but with pace of play and constant noise of the airplanes I would not be going back there anytime soon.
Not likely to play here again
While I have played here many times over the years, I have never been as disappointed with the staff as I was today. The proshop guy was good and the starter was fine but, the rest were beyond bad. We played in 3 1/2 hours but, the marshalls were not friendly, the bar staff was overwhelmed and the refreshment cart didn't want to be there. At 6pm, the restaurant was closed forcing to go off site for food and the fella gathering the carts was rushing us off the cart before we had collected out valuables.
good course made poorer by staff attitudes and arrogance
there is a bag drop which was being blocked by supplier vehicles and vendors making the load/unload experience more work than it should have been
Also the staff displayed an 80s attitude making us feel lucky we were allowed to play there , which there is no room for in this day and age
the course is not friendly to seniors as there is a lot of hill climbing from the cart to some tees
and of course the constant airport noises which can’t be helped
Change staff attitudes and strongly mandate a clear path to bag drops and the experience will be upgraded already
Target golf
This course is nice, it offers different challenges. You have to be accurate, especially off the tee.
But overall a fun course to play if you don’t mind the planes flying over your head every minute!
Quality Course
We teed off early, and played at a very reasonable 4.5 hour pace. Course was relatively short, with some lengthy holes. Be prepared for a lot of water hazards that come into play a lot. We had to second guess our club selection a lot off the tee. Course condition overall was good, some wet spots but still early in the season, bunkers were firm, and greens were a moderate and consistent speed. Location was easily accessible. After you tee off you will not pass the clubhouse so don't forget your water/snacks, although they did have a beverage cart out around 9:30 or 10 am. Definitely will be playing this course again!

Great course!
This is one of the toughest it best courses I’ve ever played! The greens are very hard but give a little twist to the regular game. The quality of the course is beautiful and we regularly play here. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

good day
We got interrupted by rain on the 15th, but otherwise the weather was great. Not the longest course, but fairly challenging. I love the planes flying over the course, although occasionally maybe a bit loud. They removed the driving range, which is not ideal, but what can you expect for a course in the city.
Thanks for taking the time to write us a review. It's great to hear you enjoyed your last visit to the course despite the surprise rain and planes. We hope you'll visit the course again soon.
Royal woodbine
A tournament was just ahead of us and very slow which made our round 5 and 1/2 hours on a very hot day. Too long and they needed to make it a best ball or scramble to speed it up. Otherwise it was a challenge and fun.
Short & Sweet
Not long but plenty of challenge. Lots of hazards, makes you think. Make sure somebody in the group has a laser or GPS.
Plenty of undulation on the greens, traps are plentiful and in good shape.
Great short track close to Pearson, lots of planes flying over.
What a gem
First time playing here. I love it. Target golf yes, but only hitting driver four times means you must think, play to your strengths, and place the ball where you can attack. Given how wet it was, the greens were fantastic.
