Nice layout, tough greens
Enjoyable round with nice looks off the tees and fairly generous fairways. Very good pace of play and walking is a good option.
Poor Staff, felt rushed
Marshal was SO unbelievably rude. He was ON TOP of us all through every hole we played.. all because we had younger players (who are like little professionals- play 18 holes a day at Eagle Valley) -we just wanted to try something new. 15 year olds. Spent 250 dollars to play 18 holes for the 4 of us and quit at 9 because we were “baby sat” the entire time. Not enjoyable. If you aren’t a professional that can par every hole then I highly suggest avoiding this course.
Best Course in the Niagara Area
Stanley Thompson design, 1928. Spectacular condition tee to green. Very nice staff and pace of play was under 4 hours.
Rain
Other than the rain storm that delayed our start it was in excellent shape with fast greens even after rain!
Bridgewater Golf and Country Club
Really enjoyed our day. Great course layout and condition . The course has a little bit of everything, elevation changes, tough par 3’s and position holes. All in all we had a great day and would certainly play it again!
Classic Course
Great Stanley Thompson design always a treat to play
Singles beware
Only complaint is as a single the cart is a shared cart with a plastic screen. Perhaps I should have known or seen that but I did not.
So if that makes you uncomfortable, please know that ahead of time.
My new home course
love the layout of the course , not to challenging for a beginner. Even playing along side members they are super friendly and not rushed or slowed down by my play.
Bridgwater staff have helped me with payments over the phone and recommended a website for used clubs to better my game
