About
Northern Dunes Golf Club is a 18-hole championship course that tumbles across the gently rolling landscape of Bruce Peninsula. The front nine lays across natural sand dunes and while the back nine's landscape required a bit more work, it manages to seamlessly blend with the surroundings. Steve Young, the course architect, incorporated the classic elements of a traditional Scottish links layout but he also wanted the course to have a thoroughly modern feel. The result is a challenging design featuring large greens and over 50 bunkers filled with natural sand strategically placed throughout. The prevailing northwest winds provide another tricky element. Northern Dunes G.C. is ideally situated less than 10 miles from Lake Huron and Sauble Beach and is accessible from all directions.

Good Track
A nice layout, fun to play. Friendly staff and quick pace made it enjoyable.
Greens, and most tees have improved since the last time we played. Sand traps are in need of some attention.
Course is getting dry but better than the last couple of years

Northern Dunes Golf
Overall I enjoyed Northern Dunes
I like the layout except for the 17th hole, hitting blind over a pump house on second shot of a long par 4 is not ideal. The course fairways were in good shape, rough on many holes is lumpy with a lot of dead grass. That wouldn't be a problem if I could stay in the fairways, lol. Staff was very friendly and the drinks were cold! I'll be back!

Fun course to play and its a shame it doesnt have full irrigation as it can tend to get burnt out in a drought. Otherwise great
