About
Northern Dunes Golf Club is a 18-hole championship course that tumbles across the gently rolling landscape of Bruce Peninsula. The front nine lays across natural sand dunes and while the back nine's landscape required a bit more work, it manages to seamlessly blend with the surroundings. Steve Young, the course architect, incorporated the classic elements of a traditional Scottish links layout but he also wanted the course to have a thoroughly modern feel. The result is a challenging design featuring large greens and over 50 bunkers filled with natural sand strategically placed throughout. The prevailing northwest winds provide another tricky element. Northern Dunes G.C. is ideally situated less than 10 miles from Lake Huron and Sauble Beach and is accessible from all directions.

Another great day at the Dunes
Early spring conditions so still wet in places, but overall in good shape. Greens were rolling very well. We play here fairly often and always have a good time. Staff is great, relaxed atmosphere and the food service is very good. A decent course at a reasonable price point, which is what we’re looking for. Thumbs up!
For this time of year the course is in very good shape.
Nice course , not overly difficult but challenging enough with a few long holes.pace of play is pretty good with not much waiting.

Tough course that rewards smart play
Greens were fast, fringe was good, good definition between fairway and rough. The grass on some of the T-boxes could be cut shorter but over all good condition. The front 9 is difficult but if you play smart you will be rewarded and the back 9 is a fun 9 and the easier of the two. The difficulty of the course is helping improve my game immensely.
Late Sept Sunny golf Day
Very nice course and well kept. Difficult because of narrow fairways and extremely hard and fast greens. Our cart broke down at hole 8 and we limped it in after hole 9 and quickly got another one from the course Marshall. We had a foursome ahead of us who didn't know pace of pay edicate and it was exrcruciatingly slow. Would play again.
Poor conditions
Nice layout.
Greens are in very poor condition as is much of the course, unfortunately.
Brutal round
We’ve played this course many times and have been generally happy with it. Today however, there was a 20-39 minute wait at every hole. We finally skipped about 4 holes just to get ahead of the back log. It was painful waiting at every hole.
Never got to play golf because it was backed up about 3 groups of 4. ! No refund according to GolfNow because it was a hot deal. I lost out on golf with no compensation from GolfNow..
Nice course
Nice course not as hard as it looks from highway. Greens are a little rough other than that course is on good shape
