About
Northern Dunes Golf Club is a 18-hole championship course that tumbles across the gently rolling landscape of Bruce Peninsula. The front nine lays across natural sand dunes and while the back nine's landscape required a bit more work, it manages to seamlessly blend with the surroundings. Steve Young, the course architect, incorporated the classic elements of a traditional Scottish links layout but he also wanted the course to have a thoroughly modern feel. The result is a challenging design featuring large greens and over 50 bunkers filled with natural sand strategically placed throughout. The prevailing northwest winds provide another tricky element. Northern Dunes G.C. is ideally situated less than 10 miles from Lake Huron and Sauble Beach and is accessible from all directions.

First time.
First time playing the Dunes. The entire layout is really very nice. We were not sure what were considered fairways or fringes. Front nine was a little shaky but the back nine seemed to improve. Fairways....and greens. Hoping at some point maybe the owners could spend a little money to green things up a little. It's truly an awesome place with so much potential. For us just a couple days of some scramble golf, good times and where do we go next year.
Friendliest Golf Course Around!
I've golfed at every course in this area and can say with absolute certainty you won't find a friendlier staff than what you find at Northern Dunes in Hepworth. I'm always greeted with a smile and treated professionally. I'm pleased to move my membership to this course and support a great local business.
Good value for money
Good course, has the length to be championship. Front 9 tight and challenging, back 9 very open. Beats out other courses.
Worth a Try
Nice track, challenging design. The front 9 is tight and the lies are sparse. The back is more open and has much better lies. You get good golf for the money, particularly in May and June then again in late August and later. Northern Dunes is challenged for irrigation water in periods of drought.
Nice layout
Fairway grass too long. Greens in good shape. First impressions of club house not good but they are well taken care of.
