Loch march is not the quality course it used to be.
Course quality has really gone down this year . Loch March used to be one of the best in Ottawa.
Bunkers were brutal . Lacking sand and lots of rocks. Bunkers that had sand had not been maintained in a while.
Lots of trees and branches down that should be cleaned up.
Lots of old ball marks on the greens . Greens were very slow .
Course has such a nice layout . Too bad management does not maintain the course properly.
Weather was great , course layout is excellent .
Course needs work to get back up to the level Loch March used to have .
Overall our group was disappointed .
Fine Course
Played on a beautiful fall mid week day. Course in exceptional condition . Only annoyance was greenskeepers operating power leaf blowers on several holes . Not prepared to stop to allow us to play shots.
Fine practice range. Great layout for intermediate to high skilled players.
Hot Deal price makes it a high end golf bargain.
par 3
there are a couple nice par 3 over water especially hole 7 is 166 yards to green
A great day at Loch March!
From the very friendly starter through to the end of our game, it was a perfect day. The course is in very good condition. It is one of my favorites in the area.
It is easy to score well on this course, as long as you know your clubs well!!
Luv the layout
Tough track. Challenges everywhere. Greens very tricky in places
Lovely course ! Good condition despite wet summer
We had a lovely time ... Marshall (Bob) was so very helpful with course management advice .. Very much looking forward to our next visit ..

Fantastic
Best course I played this year in Ottawa. The greens were pure
Great lay out
Course was in great shape. The staff is fantastic.

Its a Great Day at Loch March
The course and the day lives up to its motto of "its a great day at Loch March". From arrival and greeting by the young lady (who drives the shuttle bus) to a "cool one" after our round, nothing but high accolades come to mind when one speaks of Loch March. Without a doubt, overall, it is my favourite course in the Ottawa area. Definitely a "must play".
Top 5 in Ottawa
Great track have been playing it for many years and will often sneak out for the twilight rate its a deal
Wait time
Booked a tee time for 1230 for 3 golfers. Was not informed of a tournament ahead of us until we got to the 1st tee box. After 6 holes we caught up to the group. At which was at a stand still. We couldn't waste our day away waiting for the tournament to end so we went to clubhouse to end our round. We did receive a voucher for 9 holes the next day but it was a bit aggravating. Otherwise it's a good challenging course in which I will play again.
WORTH THE DRIVE
It is a long drive from the City's east end to the course but worth every minute. We like everything about this course; the layout, quality of the fairways and greens, walkable, a fair challenge.
Do be aware while on the 12th green and 13th tee off that golfers teeing off on #10 don't always yell FORE! when going too far to the right. We almost got clocked on the green, and again by the tee box while explaining to the guys that missed us the first time that it was a close call (+/- 2 feet from one of our heads).
Never should let us play
After a rainy Friday night we had a tee off at 7:09am Saturday. The Marshall should've not allowed us to play in these conditions. I heard many great things about this course and was very excited to play. But when u have puddles in the fairway and can't hit the ball because of it it wasn't an enjoyable game. We were soaked and tired. Not very impressed with the staff at this course. Was very disappointed. I guess it was my luck.
Course.
The course is in decent shape considering all the rain this year, staff is doing a good job.
