Cardinal Golf Club - RedCrest

Went on golf now and got a hot deal. Found out it was regular price. First disappointment. Then get there and it's cart path only. BS In my mind. Summer rates and they charge that for spring setting. Not happy with this place since the new owners took it over. My adice there is way better deals else were. Rethink this place. Not worth it.

We were rained out on the 9th hole and decided to get a rain check but because we booked through Golf Now they told us rudely that we would have to go through Golf Now. I ask the gentleman for a contact as I couldn't find one online he basically shrugged me off. So I'm out a round of Golf. Please rectify this matter.

Fun track - not sure it’s worth the price they charge though - especially compared to the value offered by the other 2 Cardinal courses. This course doesn’t have a driving range to warm up at. It’s an enjoyable layout with a lot of water hazards on the course. Played in tough (windy & cold) conditions, and the pace of play on the back 9 was quite slow, especially given it was not that busy. Waited about 5-15 minutes on every tee from the 8 hole onward and didn’t see a Marshall trying to move things along at all. Made for an unenjoyable back 9. To boot, a group of 2 behind me gave up waiting and then joined their friends in the group in front of me, playing in as 5-some for the last 3 holes, slowing things down even more. Course was in good shape for the time of year.

The course is in pretty good condition in this early season. Several fairways are still wet and car path only policy in effect thus slowing down the pace n not good for seniors. Bunkers are also quite wet and greens still have the aeration marks. But overall the condition is still good. Check in was quick n staffs are very polite n friendly with smiling faces. Weather is also cooperating so a very enjoyable day out there.

Redcrest was great today. Even with all the rain the course was in great shape. Richard at the front desk was incredible and so was everything else. Top shelf, all the way around.

I usually play here 5-10 times a year. The course was in pretty good condition. I just wish players would fix their divots!! Overall 7/10 IMO

Played Saturday Nov. 5/22 at 1:10 PM...The starter was extremely rude to our foursome as well as the other foursomes that were there at the time. Was surprised someone didn't get physical and pop him one, he was that rude...Indeed a few of these players suggested they would not be back...This is suppose to be a high end course and this type of behaviour from the staff is totally unexpected and inexcusable. Management would be wise to remove him. I know I will strongly suggest to others that they would be wise to go elsewhere.
