Cardinal Golf Club - West

Great course was a little wet do to the rain the day before but will go back and play again.

Despite a vary wet summer, the course was in great shape and pace of play super.

Haven't played this course for 2 years. New carts are quiet electric-powered with GPS intelligent screen. I believe each cart is washed after every use. So clean.

Course is pretty with a lot of flowers. Mostly wide fairways with some dunes.

Most overpriced golf course I ever played in Ontario the pace of place is very slow the greens are pretty poor for the money I would never pay that much to play there again very disappointed

I enjoy playing Cardinal Golf Club, nice course, good layout, although it's always VERY busy. They often have great deals for tee times, which creates an excellent 'bang for your buck' provided you don't mind a 5+ hour round.

Front nine was great. It took 1.5 hours to play with 2 people. Unfortunately found ourselves behind a group of 3 after that and play slowed down substantially.. Of course there was no on course marshall to talk to. This is the case almost every time I have played here. If there were more marshals to direct the course of play on a regular basis it would get a higher mark.

Great deal on golfnow. Love this course. However teed off at 4pm and daylight is a premium this time of year. Some groups ahead were slow in pace and a marshall would have helped keep pace. Didnt end up playing last 2 holes as a result. Otherwise excellent course.

Excellent course, well managed.

Rainy day, not much people in course, only spent 3.5 hours to finish 18 holes.

This was the first time I played the course. The conditions were very good, particularly the greens.

Other than a few holes, the pace of play was decent.

I enjoyed it a lot. Would go again.

The course layout is well designed to challenge you in making good shot selections.. Bunkers are strategically placed so good shots get rewarded...

You get a multitude of views throughout the course of play that are pretty unique in an old style course..

Overall a good test of your Game... Challenging when playing the Back Tees....

Greens in very poor condition. 1 or 2 greens rolled true. Frustrating.

Haven't played Cardinal in a few years, but overall it was a great weekend round. Greens and fairways were in decent conditions despite the dry summer but the tee blocks need some work. Not one flat deck and the blocks were tight!

4:15 for a Saturday round is never bad!

Played West Wing and Cardinal doesnt fail to impress me. Love this course and the layout. However pace of play was extremely slow this time. We finished in 5 hours and had to wait at every hole. Marshall came by and said we were holding people up? Ummm we have been waiting every hole so how are we holding people up??? Anyways good course and once again no towels. Hey Cardinal how about you put a few towels away for us twilite golfers??? Do i really need to bring my own towel?

Forgiving course if you go somewhat offline but it is a shot makers course on several dog legs. Round was quick in 3.5 hrs. Staff were very friendly. This was my first time but will go again.

Minor observation - I was in 2 bunkers during round and both had shallow (< 1inch) sand coverage over hardpan - not good for a sand wedge with high bounce. A few more inches of sand would be nice.
