Cardinal Golf Club - West

Forgiving course if you go somewhat offline but it is a shot makers course on several dog legs. Round was quick in 3.5 hrs. Staff were very friendly. This was my first time but will go again.

Minor observation - I was in 2 bunkers during round and both had shallow (< 1inch) sand coverage over hardpan - not good for a sand wedge with high bounce. A few more inches of sand would be nice.

very nice professional course. nice layout, great value got on GN riding for $50... away from the city ... pace of play wasn't too bad today. very nice greens.

The practice green next to the mini put needs attention...way to bumpy, every putt i took was deflected by bumps..(every putt)... the practice green needs to be rolled out. Other then that the round was good. The course is in good shape and the greens running true.

There was three asian ladies hitting their ball while we were existing the green and one ball hit our cart.

We told that marshall and they should have been ejected.

Course is in good shape with a few challenging holes.

Good move to electric carts

Course was in great shape. Challenge on each hole.

First time playing this course and I enjoyed. Front nine was very slow (2 1/2hrs) as group in front were

horrible. Were hitting tee shots continuosly of 50-75 yds and were clueless of "golf etiquette. Able to pass

them after nine and round improved

I've played Cardinal quite a few times as it's close, and it's well run. Before they introduced their higher end Redcrest course, the Cardinal East and West courses were better maintained. It's still consistent and reasonably well-maintained, but I find it dries out and plays really hard as the summer wears on.

The East and West courses tend to cater to your weekend warrior. Some of the holes on the West course have some tight fairways or forced carries, but I'd consider it an easier course.

I don't find it particularly good value if you pay full price, but they often advertise specials on their site. These make it a course I'd consider playing, but certainly not one of my favorites in the area.

I only got to the 4th hole. They then sounded the horn and called everyone in due to rain. They issued a rain check. Will be back soon to play a full round.

Hadn't played here for a couple of years. Find course to be in good condition, and was happy to play here again.

Conditions were good especially for time of year. got really good deal through Golfnow.com and played with 2 nice guys.

I play from white tee which is just the right length for my game. Some holes have interesting challenges for good course management. Landing area are reasonable. Greens in good condition

Cardinal West Wing is a decent course - no outstanding features, except maybe the quality of the sand in the traps, which was very nice. The course is very flat - easy to walk with some water in play on several holes, greens are very flat. I played after some fairly heavy rain, so course had some standing water and was cart path only.

I had a wonderful day, despite the score lol.
First time playing 18. The greens had just been serviced so not good rolls but the rest was good for end of season.

I know this course is close to Vaughan and the city so it's a popular spot, but it took us a twosome, 2 hours and 40 minutes for the first 9 holes on the West. More marshalls are needed to keep up pace of play because the foursome in front of us was brutal. Beginners need to be taught about pace of player from these marshalls.

Greens were aerated so we were putting with our eyes closed cause there were no good rolls, fairways and tee blocks were ok. Cart girl visited us on the 1st and then 18th hole which makes no sense at all.

Only positives. Starters were polite and the rate was too good to pass on. Otherwise I'd categorize this as the slowest public course I've ever played on.

OVerall, had a great day....cart girl on the west course was not friendly, not outgoing, did not come back as she promised, drove right by several foursomes and generally seemed like she would rather be anywhere else but here. The rest of the staff was fantastic and the course was in great shape and fun to play

The staff is very friendly starting from the front desk. The course is well maintained and a good challenge. The price to play the course is good value for money. Play this course at least twice a week. I would recommend this course to all golfers.

The course was in great shape. The staff are professional. I would definatly recommend this course to friends and anyone looking for a great dollar deal. Will play again soon.

Maybe a touch pricey for what we got overall. But generally in good, not excellent, shape and fun layout.

Fairways and putting greens in great shape. Good pace of play.

Cardinal Golf Club - West course is the perfect course for beginners and intermediate golfers. The course is fairly flat but almost every hole has water in play if shots are errant. The par 4&5 fairways are generous and lots of room to hit a good drive. Course is great to walk even from the back pin locations. The greens are fairly challenging though due to tournament play do get chewed up abit. All the bunkers have been redone two years ago and as such play much nicer, sand is soft and the golfer can be more agressive.
