Cardinal Golf Club - West

Pace of play was horrendous. Not one marshal on the course speeding up the two very slow groups in front of us. Didn’t see a single cart guy/girl the entire round either. I’m a local guy and usually enjoy Cardinal but it seems to have gone downhill lately. I get it’s fall but some greens were full of leaves… Not worth $90+ imo.

This course used to be one of my favorite, but after Sunday, i was so disappointed how they maintained the course. Not worth it!

Teed off @ 1:40pm on a Tuesday. Front 9 almost took 3 hours! 3 groups waiting at each hole with no marshal in site. I quit after 9 .

The course is fine and has many good qualities. I have played this course twice in the last 3 weeks and the pace of play is beyond terrible. The starters are friendly however once you tee off you never see another person again. We had people who were clearly unaware of the etiquette of golf and a group of people that ran onto our fairway and picked up our golf balls - twice! (completely oblivious until we’re able to show them the balls they were playing were different colour and brand) The food service was dreadfully slow. Again where are the marshals? This course continues to decline under what must be new ownership.

I'm looking to get a refund for a golfer that didn't show up due to medical concerns three out of the four played. Getting contact information for golf now has been horrendous next to Impossible I would like a refund for the one person that did not play it was $130

Good stuff as always from Cardinal ... but the greens are full of divots. Players here just don't fix them and looks like maintenance can't keep up with them either. Other then that always a good time.

Very good course. Good condition. Good staff.Good pace of play.

Due to the amount of tee times closely scheduled (10min) between tee times the course gets packed and often backs up. The Marshalls tend to ask everyone to pick up the pace… annoying.. this course tends to draw beginners and as such the pace of play drops therefore the course needs to schedule accordingly.

Need to hand out divot tools or stress the importance of fixing your divots to players. Green are covered in divots. $100 a round, you’d expect players paying that price would have the decency to replace their divots.

I should invoice the club for all the divots I fixed throughout my round…

The course is relatively flat and a good option for mid to high handicappers. The greens aren't fast but the rolled nicely. As for the negative, the pace was hampered by a slow 4 some 3 groups ahead, and there were 2 separate twosomes in between us and said slow 4 some. Calls to the clubhouse and speaking to a course Marshall proved useless.
