Eagles Nest Golf Club
About
Eagles Nest Golf Club sprawls across a rugged landscape of sand dunes and dense fescue that was formerly a sand and gravel quarry. The terrain is the ideal setting for a scenic, challenging round. The golf course's layout is a unique links design by Canada's top course architect, Doug Carrick, who incorporated slick, fast greens and meticulously manicured fairways. Golfers face many precarious challenges including sod wall bunkers, vast waste areas, and prevailing winds. Eagles Nest Golf Club offers panoramic views of downtown Toronto, especially on the par-3 8th hole. One of the most notably difficult holes is the par-5 17th, which features a split fairway, water, fescue, and a desert-like waste bunker.

This course is awesome
Returning to Eagle's Nest after several years I did not remember the course that well but the atmosphere and facilities were still A1!
Great course, played as a twosome in 3 hours 10 minutes.
Early in the Season
A beautiful course however it has suffered from some winter burn. There was a lot of yellow patches throughout the fairways. Other than that the course was extremely well manicured and the greens were lightning fast. I three-putted much more than normal. I played from the whites which were about 6200 yards and I shot my best score of 85 this year (I have played 8 times). I think that I played well because I only used my driver 8 times and kept the ball in the fairway. I will definitely play again.
Never Disappoints!
The course was in great condition for being early/late spring! Staff is always friendly and eager to please!
BEST 18th Hole in the GTA
My favourite golf course in the GTA. (Greater Toronto Area).
18th Hole is the best finishing hole I have played in the city. Spectacular design and facilities & service outstanding.
I have been lucky enough to play this course many times and it is always in the very best condition.
Definitely recommend and look forward to playing Eagles Nest every year. The staff are amazing.
Still quick greens in November
Great course! Played on a cool day. Great contrast between the two nines. Conditions were good for the time of year. Aerated fairways and tees but the greens were still quick and pure. Always a great challenge.
Worst staff and director of golf. Big let down
Over hyped.
Big disappointment
Worst staff especially the director of golf
He asked my playing partner to not use range until 30 min before his tee time!!!
He says it's is a club rules. We argued and asked him to show us the rule in out receipt with golf now. It wasn't on the conditions of use
Instead of apologizing he did nothing and didn't try to make amends. We should get a free round for him insulting us for buying on day count thru Golfnow and then saying we are trying to rip them off by using the range early?
spectacular
love this golf course would definitely play it again highly recommend it to friends
Eagles Nest-Scenic Views
This was my first game at Eagles Nest. Very scenic course with great views of the local and larger geographical area. The golf range was great and so were the pro shop and starter staff. I've played its sister-course (Turnberry) and was not disappointed with the quality of the on-course conditions. Surprisingly, the restaurant was empty after our round. While this was a quiet Monday and the parking lot was more than half full, my buddy and I were the only diners for lunch. The 19th Hole restaurant was equally quiet. Club house facilities are excellent as quality locker room options are available to golfers: premium shower supplies, showers, towels, etc.
The course is very enjoyable to play. Given the regular course fees available from GolfNow or on the course website, it is surprising that the golf carts do not have GPS. I brought my own but for the premium price normally charged, I would have expected this accessory as a "given". We got a great Hot Deal special. Worth the price.
scenic golf course
this course is fabulous, and very challenging note note for beginners.
Would golf there every day
Very nice elevation changes. Lots of bunkers. Great round.
Challenging to say the least
Awesome golf course to play. Very difficult hole and greens. Green are slick. Course was in really nice shape. The staff was on the ball from start to finish. I would love to play eagles nest again and would highly recommend it to intermediate players or better.
Long Day Stuck In the Nest
Absolutely stunning course and in outstanding condition, but no player assistants on the course until 10am meant pace of play got off track and was behind the entire day. With a 9:40 Friday tee-off it took over 5 and a half hours to finish. Routinely had 2 groups on the tee box and waiting on each shot really disrupted the game and enjoyment of the round. I'd love to take another crack at it but it was the slowest round of my life outside of tournaments and for the green fee rates being charged this is unacceptable and I won't play there again. This is truly a top course in Ontario and if the pace of play is managed on the day you take a crack at it you will love it.
Beautiful course with stunning views of the city
This was my first time golfing at Eagles Nest, it will not be my last! The golf course is in fantastic shape with some of the most beautiful views of the Toronto skyline. All that being said, make sure you come to play because Eagles Nest will test every club in your bag.
excellent course
difficult.. but enjoyable. great staff.. my husband left his wedding band in the cart and they found it and returned it.
ok I guess...
well it rained, but no rain check unless there is "thunder and lightning" (ya, that's a quote...lol)
the cart ran out of juice on the 15th, i pushed for a hole but then we carried our clubs for the last 2 holes (so remember to take your shoulder strap).
no cart person (they where keeping dry in the washroom as we went by), half way house was closed at the turn (no you can't get a quick sandwich inside).
don't expect more than half the staff to be pleasant.
avoid the guy spitting on the marble floor in the hallway.
greens just aren't as good as they used to be.
Gorgeous
Beautiful course very scenic. Accurate tee shots needed. Hilly terrain. Too bad we had two very slow groups ahead of us which made our time almost 5 hours!
WOW
It was my sons birthday, so I figured it was a nice treat. My first time playing here and it really did live pup to its reputation. Beautiful views great variety of holes, certainly a challenge to any skill level. Very friendly staff. I'd consider it a must play to any enthusiast.
