Eagles Nest Golf Club
About
Eagles Nest Golf Club sprawls across a rugged landscape of sand dunes and dense fescue that was formerly a sand and gravel quarry. The terrain is the ideal setting for a scenic, challenging round. The golf course's layout is a unique links design by Canada's top course architect, Doug Carrick, who incorporated slick, fast greens and meticulously manicured fairways. Golfers face many precarious challenges including sod wall bunkers, vast waste areas, and prevailing winds. Eagles Nest Golf Club offers panoramic views of downtown Toronto, especially on the par-3 8th hole. One of the most notably difficult holes is the par-5 17th, which features a split fairway, water, fescue, and a desert-like waste bunker.

my favourite course
it's by far my favorite course, after playing at other premium courses like Copper Creek, Wooden Sticks, Angus Glen, etc. It was designated in a way that's challenging and interesting. A good place to test your game. They also got one of the best practice facilities (if not the best) in the GTA. Always look forward to my next round there.
Great Layout
Scenic and interesting holes. Other than a little traffic noise on holes near the main streets, I have no complaints with the design of this course.
Challenging
Don't miss the fairway, or you will find trouble and thick, deep, feskew! Greens were impossibly fast and the course is in magnificent shape. Stay straight or you will be in jail. Scenic and beautiful to the eye, incredibly hard to play, a wonderfully challenging and fun course. Enjoy!
Eagles nest.
Awesome course condititions are over the top 10/10 .best GTA golf course by far
Beauty course
One of the best public courses in the GTA but one of the toughest always gets the best of me.
Beautiful course... Maybe not $195 beautiful.
An excellent course providing quite the challenge with some fairly long holes. Greens were in great shape, and reacted well to the ball. You can tell they really care about course maintenance.
Great warm up facilities as well with range, putting and chipping green.
Great Course
We found the course to be challenging but fair. The bunkers and fescue make sure you want to keep the ball in the short stuff. We enjoyed the course especially at the Golf Now discount. I do think $195 regular rate is too much, and this applies to any course that wants to charge that much, in my opinion. My preference is to walk a course but I don't think this one qualifies as walker friendly.
What a Gem
Played here with a customer for work. Pretty pricey, but worth every penny. Course was in excellent shape, staff professional, and just a great overall experience.
Nicest course in the GTA
One of my favorite courses to play. Beautiful course, clubhouse, practice facility, etc.. They have done nothing wrong here. Just wish I could afford to play it more often. It's a bit on the pricey side. Got a good deal with Golfnow though.
Great day with friends
Loved the course, the staff and the food... great shape... non-intrusive marshalls and gorgeous views... 10 out of 10
Eagles Nest
I have played Eagles Nest on numerous occasions.
If it is not the best public course in and around Toronto I don't know who is.
Great experience as always.
The staff did a great job and made the afternoon an superb experience.
Eagles Nest Golf
Awesome course to play! Challenging but very fair. would definitely play this course again. Love the layout and the beautiful scenery.
not worth the money
The course has always had a great design but the fairways and greens were not up to par.. i don't believe the money spent was worth the condition of the course..
High end service
There are high end courses that offer the best but fall short on service and that ruins the day . Not at Eagles Nest. The conditions are okay but given the winter we have had you can't complain too much about burnt out fairways. But the service was top notch and the food was amazing. This alone will be a place I think of the next time I need to book a round of business golf.
Great experience!
It was my first time to play in this reputable course, but it was just a great round considering everything. I felt like I was playing two different courses as the front 9 holes and the back 9 differed totally in every aspect. The fairways, greens, cart path, and even the rough were neat and well-maintained even though there were some parts that had obviously been damaged by the last brutal winter. And there were no rude or ill-mannered players! I believe this course would be perfect in summer.
Course took quite a hammering from the winter
Course was a little beaten up. Very unhappy with the starter as he let the group behind tee off too quickly, and we were almost hit on the fairway on the 1st hole. This happened again on the 6th hole and nearly broke into a fight!
Best in GTA!
Amazing golf course! Extremely challenging. Played early in the year with greens still manageable, looking forward to playing in June and beyond when it's lightning fast.
Love the 18th hole set up!
It's the best course in GTA for your money.
Too early to play
The course is still recovering from a harsh winter. We played early in the morning in cool and very windy conditions. It's obviously a very nice course, but we did not see it at it's best. The staff was very friendly and organized. The facilities were excellent, as was the course layout. The greens were in good condition, but the fairways had a lot of winter kill.
The course was fun to play, with doglegs, many elevation changes, some blind tee shots, lots of bunkers and overall very good looking holes.
I gave a low "value for the money" based on the time of year. I think that in mid July it might be worth the money, but not in early May this year!
