Eagles Nest Golf Club sprawls across a rugged landscape of sand dunes and dense fescue that was formerly a sand and gravel quarry. The terrain is the ideal setting for a scenic, challenging round. The golf course's layout is a unique links design by Canada's top course architect, Doug Carrick, who incorporated slick, fast greens and meticulously manicured fairways. Golfers face many precarious challenges including sod wall bunkers, vast waste areas, and prevailing winds. Eagles Nest Golf Club offers panoramic views of downtown Toronto, especially on the par-3 8th hole. One of the most notably difficult holes is the par-5 17th, which features a split fairway, water, fescue, and a desert-like waste bunker.

great course

For a course surrounded by a busy community, you would never know it. Most holes, you would never even know where the other holes are. Pristine shape and beautiful ups and downs make for a challenging lay-out. At $90 including cart, a great value.

one of my favorite

One of the top-rate courses in Toronto, with good layout and magnificent club house. Reasonable twilight rate on golfnow. Course was busy and took almost 5 hours to finish.
Only negatives are no marshal to be seen and unstoppable green at 12th.

Great outing at Eagles Nest

Played the course for the first time. What a superbly designed golf course. Lots of elevation changes that made very interesting play. The course is challenging with 88 strategically-placed bunkers that you will sure hit into a few of them. Nonetheless, a very enjoyable course indeed.

What a Gem

First time playing Eagles Nest and although the normal rate is a little higher than I'd like to pay, GolfNow had a pretty good rate for this time of year. The course is in great condition. I was surprised by the elevaiton changes the course offers and it's numerous bunkers. Just an overall appealing course to the eye. If you haven't played here, try it once. You'll go back as I will asap.

Customer service - poor!

Customer service is poor at best. The worst service we've ever experienced for that calibre of golf course. Would not recommend, sorry!

Best Course in TO.

If it's not #1 then it's right up there.

I can't say enough about this course, it's beatifully manicured, punishing for being wayward, rewarding for keeping it in the short stuff and lighting fast greens. With the rolling fairways it your lie is not alway flat, ball above your feet, downhill, uphill lies... A TRUE test of your golf game.

The staff and club house are awesome.. alway make you feel special when you play.

Can't go wrong

Always a gem of a course. Surprising though, that even at $200 a round some people STILL don't fix their divots....

my favourite course

Best course in Canada that I have played. Every shot is challenging and interesting. Every hole very different from every other. Dramatic layout will punish poor shots. Tough greens to putt well. Don't get in the pot bunkers.

Many beautiful holes

The view of the Toronto skyline from the 8th hole is pretty amazing. The course itself is challenging and beautiful. If only it wasn't so expensive it would easily get my five stars.
