Great track
The south course is in fantastic condition, the golf course lay out is perfect, a course you could every day.Top notch
Angus Glen South Course- open for business!
First time back in a couple years and they nailed it!
Too marks across the board...
Making the best of a tough situation and doing it in style!
Treated us like VIP’s
They have a “special price “ right now and it’s well worth the money...
Booking a return game for next week....
Cheers!
JRP
p.s. found this ball and I’m a huge “Rush” fan....good karma!!
The Course is in great shape!
Greens is a bit slow but overall the course is in great shape! Augus staffs did a great job explaining the changes it imposes before our round!
Course well maintained with friendly staff
Terribly hot today but still enjoy playing this course. No score card and the hole distance marks have not been put up yet. But the GPS provided the detailed info of each hole. The green is a bit slow probably the grass grew pretty fast. Bunker no racks and allowed to drop if you like. Each person has a power cart and pace of play is good. Can finish in 4 hours for foursome. Rough is thick as usual and fairways in good shape. So no complaints.
Not worth the money
Totally disappointing. Better time on a lot of better value courses. The rough was crazy and one foot off the fairway is dead. Not well maintained. Sand also crap. Fluffy top and hard right under.
Impressive Covid 19 start up
Angus Glen is a top course at anytime. Covid 19 brought a lot of uncertainty for golf in general. I was impressed with the staff and organization. Condition of course and pace of play was excellent. Felt as close to a normal round of golf as possible under the circumstances. Limited to no amenities but completely understandable.
This course condition is great for this time of year
First time I can play Angus Glen under 4 hours, don't care for the modify cup, beside that, we have a great day
Great course but terrible conditions
It seems like the owners are gearing up for a land sale. The course is falling apart. The layout is fun to play but try to get it in peak season when the conditions are as best as they will be.
Excellent fall round of golf
I had perfect weather of 12 degrees. Course conditions were very good. Service staff were great.
Greens Need Work-Otherwise OK
All 18 greens had been aerated and were bumby and slow. .The twosome playing with us when booking had inquired about the greens and was told they were fine, no issues.
The layout is good except for hole 11. I really don't like the pond and the reeds they have put in. On second shot it is hard to see green and judge distance.
The starter was good, friendly and welcoming.
Had dinner in clubhouse after, was priced right and quite well prepared.
Poor Course Conditions
What is going on with this facility? They proudly boast being the best public course in 1995. It's gone down hill. The conditions are poor. C'mon guys, it's a championship course and you treat it like it's a goat pasture. You can do better.
I played the same day you did and the greens were awful.
Premium pricing implies premium conditions but that was not the case.
