Amazing course
Very challenging and big carries. The course was quiet when we played.. it’s expensive but worth the money.
poor course conditions
the course was dry and not in the best shape. the South course is already the more challenging course but the poor course conditions was distracting and took away from the enjoyment
Awful Conditions
There is no way this course is worth the money. The layout is nice but the condition of this course is awful. Definitely not worth the money at 135 a round before taxes. Should be an 80-90 $ course prime time. Has gone way downhill from previous years, sad to see.
Very dry and brown
Not the greatest condition. Very dry and brown. Still a nice track but maybe a little pricy. I remember this place being in pristine condition the last time I played
No as nice as the pictures
Green were very slow and dirty. Grass was long in the edges. Overall very disappointed with the course conditions based on cost of the course.
Top Notch Golf
Great course just north of Toronto, perfect green , great lay out, over all top notch facilitie, a must play
par
was what you’d expect of a premium course. was not thrilled that you pay 100% of the cost of a regular round but you’re not permitted a warm up as is normally included. course was booked solid, yet we didn’t see another group ahead or behind. well done. felt like most of the back 9 was cart path only yet there hasn’t been much rain. tough layout.
Always a lovely a place to play
Angus Glen rarely ever disappoints. The staff with Covid were incredibly professional and informative about policy. The south course was in lovely condition and a pleasure to play. It was also great as patios started to open so we enjoyed a meal after. A very enjoyable day out for our group. Will definitely play there again.
Covid 19 Rules
Attendants are very educated in terms of rules and enforcement of distancing. All were wearing the required mask to protect. Coming back again tomorrow to enjoy and experience and staying alive....
Well Set Up for COVID
Angus Glen has done a really good job managing the course and the play to ensure that proper precautions are taken for COVID. They have set up the booking and carts well, gave clear instructions on precautions and what was available and really made the experience enjoyable. It has always been a good course and it was good to see that they have adapted well.
Angus Glenn Golf South
Great course, had a wonderful round and day. Only issue, they did not tell us that the practice facility was closed and not available with the green fees we paid. Not a huge deal but If I arrived an hour before my tee time expecting to practice, and then finding out that practise was not available, would not be happy. Easy to put that on the website.
But all in all are great course and really fun round.
Very dissatisfied
When booking I expected golf club rentals to be an option. I saw nothing on your site or within the order flow what would lead me to believe club rentals weren’t an option. Only a I find out day of we couldn’t play and since you have a staunch no refund policy I received zero value for my money.
Very frustrated with the experience and I’ll be sure to inform friends and family.
Getting Tired
First time playing the South Course in years. When it opened, it was a prestige facility with premium conditions. The golf fee is reduced significantly from the rack rate, though still over $100.
The tee sheet was fully booked though the course moved well. We played in 4 hrs and 5 minutes. The layout is still solid, though the conditions have diminished considerably. I fixed 4-8 ball marks per hole on the greens. Also, for mid June, the greens ran a little slow. I didn’t see a Marshall or any maintenance staff during the round. It almost felt like golfers didn’t respect the course from a conditioning perspective. Could be due to bare bones staffing and attention being paid by staff...not sure. Made me a little sad that the operation seemed to be getting tired.
