Coming back
Only had time for 9 holes but scheduled for 18 holes in a few days. I walk the course and it's a pleasant walk. Well layed out. Played the Cobalt course. I will try the Ruby course soon as well.
its a challenge
I played when it was in good shape and I enjoyed the challenge
Great course
For the value it is the best course around. If you want food please try the the club house..Jimmy the owner his dinner are the best value and so good..
Senior Green Fees
Encourage seniors to golf more often by by limiting green fees to $50 including carts & taxes. Let the course be filled with retirees instead of being unused.
Great spot
Priced a bit lower than Cobalt, challenging on your short game, and some very tempting short par 4s for the longball player. Pace of play in the fall is great. Staff are decent too.
GTA Hidden Gem
Cobalt is the longer of the two 18s with a Par 72.
Small annoyance was that I had to get money back at the counter so I could book online rate in the pro shop to get $8 cheaper for the round I was playing. This wasn’t a hot deal, it was rack rate both at the counter and online. Makes little sense to me. Either way, staff member was understanding. Not many courses closer to GTA have rates as competitive as Granite Ridge regardless.
Great shape for fall. Was not happy about a downed tree obstructing the green on #9 with no strategic pin placement to accommodate (move it to the front maybe) instead of having to clean tree bark out of my putt path. Greens were otherwise decent as were the fairways and tee boxes.
Pace at this time of year is always great.
I usually play this course several times in the fall. Never a bad round.
Beautiful fall day for golf
Frost on the grass meant a late start, but once we got going, the course conditions were very good. Pace was very good. Not too many hazards. Overall, a very enjoyable experience
Great day of Golf
I’ve played both the Ruby and Cobalt courses a few times. Really enjoy the layout. Course is well groomed and the scenery is beautiful !!
Good round
Course was in good shape. Not overly tough. But a fun round
Fall golf.
The course was in good shape for this time of year. Played under 4 hrs as a 2 some tee off was on time.
Not my type of course.
The highlight for me was fall golf on the edge of the escarpment. As for an enjoyable course to play it fell well short of my expectations. If you like a golf course where tee's and greens and fairways are tightly packed together then this course is for you.
A Member’s Review
I have have a membership at Granite Ridge and have played often throughout the season. I like both the Cobalt and Ruby courses. Grounds are always in great shape and staff is always accommodating and helpful. Beautiful view of the escarpment.
Cobalt is my favourite this year as I find it just a bit more challenging than Ruby. Looking forward to improving my game and playing a few more rounds here this season!

We're glad you enjoyed the Cobalt course and we cannot wait for you to try out Ruby! Thanks for choosing Granite Ridge Golf Club.
