Granite Ridge Golf Club - Ruby

First time played this course with a very good hot deal from GolfNow. Staff very friendly and we tee off right on time. Course in perfect condition at this time of the season. Pace of play was very good and we finished our round in less than 4 hours. Will be back next time we are in Toronto.

Course in general is beautiful. But paying $100 for greens that are basically unplayable is a bit steep. The greens were aerated and moved the ball around like a pinball machine. It’s understandable that th work needs to be done, but some sort of discount or reduced fee I think would be appropriate.

Aerated greens with barely any sand laid out. Greens aren’t worth putting on!!

Nobody controlling pace of play. When casually mentioned after the turn to staff it was played off as “public golf”.

Staff all very friendly and hospitable.

Surprised -course was in better shape than expected. Greens a little slow and bumpy

Pace of play was poor. The Marshall was accommodating and let we play an open hole or two to pass time. Very friendly. And the staff were. They have the pins in the fairway as the greens are blocked off. Super windy day. Been there before, will go again.

Great course pace of play was very slow and should offer a cheaper rate while repairing greens and put up signs on the tee box notifying of the issue.4 for sure maybe 5 greens not accessible

To have a $100 round this early in the year is egregious when you realize that the course is garbage. TWO separate holes had 'greens' that were just spray painted circles on the middle of the fairway cut to the same length of the fairway while the real green was under construction. No warning, same price, didn't even move the yardage markers. Ruined a round of golf. This price makes it seem like the course will be on par with real courses like Piper's Heath or Royal Ontario. Not even in the same stratosphere. Management needs to do better by offering a steep discount AND warning people of this garbage if they have no other choice.

The course was in great shape, considering how early it is in the year. The staff was very polite and friendly. I’m a single golfer and they accommodated my wanting to play by putting me in a group of really great guys. Overall very happy with everything.

cobalt has 2-3 temporary greens

Ruby has more than 5 if i remembered correctly

otherwise good course and nice staff

Ok for the money. Pretty slow with lots of people here on a cool wet day.

Course was closed for snow…. I wasn’t able to play but I was still charged the full fee by golf now
