Lowville Golf Club
About
Tucked away in the scenic Niagara Escarpment, Lowville Golf Club offers scenic views of the greater Toronto area. The layout blends seamlessly with the natural landscape, creating a picturesque golf setting that the Toronto Star's "Bogey Man" has touted as the most scenic in the area. The golf course has also received top honors from the same publication as the most improved club. This challenging, 18-hole course features several downhill tee shots that can really carry, making it a fun course for long hitters. Lowville Golf Club's 12th hole is notably entertaining. It is a long par-5 that requires a long carry off the tee to a tricky green.

Prepaid rounds
Don’t like the idea of prepaid rounds!!!! This only started happening during the COVID time and still continues……:
Terrible
Worst experience from golf staff ever. Very rude staff
Unfriendly staff
One of the worst experiences I have ever had on a golf course. Starter working April 26th 2022 at 11am was very rude. Definitely would not recommend this course. They charge $8 for strapless pull carts.
Excellent early season round.
This was my first time playing Lowville. I was very impressed with fairway and green conditions, especially being so early in the season. Great views, lots of elevation changes. A very playable golf course. I will be back often this season.
Great Experience
Great track and friendly staff. Well worth the price.
first game:
being that it is April, the course was in fairly good condition. all greens were open. two tee boxes are being replaced and one was closed to allow for more growth. overall......fun day and very friendly staff.
Cost of carts is very high since they expect you to not walk south a tough, hilly walk. Costs have increased for green fee as well making it very unlikely that I play Lowville again.
Waterlogged Course
Course had so much water on it that there was no place on the Course that wasn't casual water. Understandable that the Course is wet at this time of year however it would of been nice to have been told about the conditions before playing instead. IMO course should have been closed. However green's were in good condition given the playing conditions.
Awful conditions considering the price. I know it’s fall but the rates should reflect the conditions. Way over priced.
