Great condition
Always great shape, course was empty for a Sunday round. Pin placement was too severe for public play too severe and close to edges.
Other than that awesome day
Great spot
Close to town and worth every buck. Fantastic walking course with a great finish. 16-18 are great.
Golf course did not ackowledge my booking
Booked a round of 18 hole for 2 with golf cart. Was charged $40 for the cart
Good track
Nice mature course. Was private up until this year. Interesting lay out.cart paths need some attention. Recently upgraded clubhouse has great food
Cant recommend
Unfortunately, I cant recommend this course for the money you pay to play.
I've been wanting to play this course for the past two years and unfortunately, when I played the course, it looked like it wasn't maintained at all. Disappointing!!!
I gave it a shot...as a senior
For the price and the value I got out of it I would not play it again. There are many courses in the area that are of better value such as Pipers Heath, Dragons Fire, Royal Ontario and one I really love is Lowville .
Good course
Overall, really enjoyed playing the course. Well designed, with some good intrigue.
Greens were a bit slow and the number of un-repaired ball marks was shocking.
Nice to have the course available for public play!
Would definitely recommend and play again.
1st time
Finally played the course that had been private for 60 years. Was disappointed with the conditions - dug up tee boxes, ball marks on greens, range balls in fairway of 1 hole, patchy grass in a few fairways, and gravel cart paths.
Nice driving range and putting green.
New restaurant and building is nice.
Small pro shop and friendly.
Would play it again but hopefully they improve the conditions.
Nice old layout
The course was great. Front nine seemed easier for me, as the holes were straightforward, with few hazards. More traditional old course with tree-lined fairways where you could spray the ball but be able to find it and get it back in play. Back nine was trickier and more difficult for me, with more water, longer carry over hazards and more doglegs. More target golf on the back on a few holes.
Played the round in 3 hours and 5 minutes (yes 18 holes) I was not playing with Bryson D.
Quick round on a sunny day
Played a round with a member in 3.5 hours. Never waited. Course was in descent shape. Some dead grass patches on a few of the fairways. Sand traps were in great shape. I should know, I visited several of them. Greens were rolling true and were in great shape. Easily walkable course. Greens are next to most of the next tee boxes. One point for addressing would be pin placement flags are all the same colour, so you can’t tell from a distance whether they are front, middle, or back without a pin finder (no guidance in the cart on zone 1, 2, 3, etc...).
Good corse, but over priced
Nice playable corse. Good pace of play. Normal price seems excessive for quality of corse vs other local comparable corses. New club house is great.
Pro shop stuff was unprofessional and not friendly. Everything g else is good.
