Turtle Creek Golf
About
Laid across rolling countryside atop the Niagara Escarpment, Turtle Creek Golf uses the natural undulations of the landscape to its full advantage. The hilly terrain combined with the rocky outcroppings scattered throughout add to the scenic nature of the golf course. The elevation of the terrain shifts between subtle and dramatic. For the most part, the layout is wide open but there are some trees to be wary of as well as some rough areas. Water plays a prominent role on the course, coming into play on 12 of the 18 holes. Turtle Creek's idyllic charm flows from the course to the clubhouse, which incorporates a stone building from 1835.

Worst round ever played at Turtle Creek!!!
We started at 7:30, and to our “luck” there were 2 groups ahead of us , playing together, that had no idea what they were doing!!!!! Of course, no marshals on course, because of the inclement weather, no marshals showed up!!!!!!
It took us more than 5 hours where normally in less than .4 hours we have completed 18 on this course!
Not good
Not a good course. Booked 18 with carts, upon arrival only let us walk 9. Very unfriendly staff. Would highly not recommend.
Great front 9, Extremely hard back 9
The front 9 was challenging, but fair. Back 9 was way too much. 230 yard drive carries from Green tees. Tough back 9 for anyone. Unless you are a Ling driver, use white tees, even though yardage seems short, it is longer from green tees. I normally play course which is 6000+ yards but this one was tough @ 5600 yards.
Not the greatest
Greens are bumpy and slow. Tee boxes are hard and uneven. Its just ok
Superb Iron Course
Turnberry is the course to sharpen your irons. A nice set of par 3's with 2 par 4's will have you reaching for your short irons and hopefully not your balls! Beautifully landscaped with an unforgiving fescue, precision is the key to this masterful course. Do you like elevation? Then this course will not disappoint Built on top of an old rock quarry, Turnberry will have you hitting over valleys and ponds! Wonderful staff plus the range and side bars are top notch. The restaurant is an attraction on its' own with it's gourmet menu.
Tough narrow course
My husband found this course very tough not knowing the penalty areas. I didn't mind it but carts were very expensive making our Golf Now deal not so great a deal.
