Turtle Creek Golf
About
Laid across rolling countryside atop the Niagara Escarpment, Turtle Creek Golf uses the natural undulations of the landscape to its full advantage. The hilly terrain combined with the rocky outcroppings scattered throughout add to the scenic nature of the golf course. The elevation of the terrain shifts between subtle and dramatic. For the most part, the layout is wide open but there are some trees to be wary of as well as some rough areas. Water plays a prominent role on the course, coming into play on 12 of the 18 holes. Turtle Creek's idyllic charm flows from the course to the clubhouse, which incorporates a stone building from 1835.

Decent course, slow pace
Good course, however the greens were not in good shape and the pace of play was exceptionally slow.
Great Golf Course
Greens and rough were cut long and were wet so it was tough. I suppose the weather wasn't letting the lawn mowers out...greens were a bit too bouncy. Regardless this is a MUST PLAY golf course.
I'd also suggest more yardage markers in fairways would help speed play.
Short and slow
Beutiful looking course on the web sight. Was reasonably maintained. Challenging, but very short, even from the back tees. Pace of play was way too slow, even on a week day. Green fees coupled with the short length and slow pace won't bring me back there again.
Always a Fun Round
We always have fun here. It's a nice simple layout with some golf course management required. The green on #2 is still not fair...too much back slope. Other than that, the greens are in great shape...quick but not unfair. My biggest complaint with all golf courses is not raking the sand at least once a day...well, here they have not raked the sand traps once this year!! Terrible..Covid has just become an excuse to not rake...considering how busy courses are (and not many deals to be had), they should be raking the traps. Only other complaint is that a $7 roast beef sandwich should have more than one small slice of beef! I'll be back but I'll bring my own sandwich though!! LOL
Excellent value
It’s a interesting course , with a lot of blind shots to the green, the par 3’s were generally quite easy , hole 10 and 14 are extremely difficult, conditions are good , pace of play is good , no beverage on course , no cart service , the rats were slow being returned which slowed most afternoon tee times .
