Turtle Creek Golf
About
Laid across rolling countryside atop the Niagara Escarpment, Turtle Creek Golf uses the natural undulations of the landscape to its full advantage. The hilly terrain combined with the rocky outcroppings scattered throughout add to the scenic nature of the golf course. The elevation of the terrain shifts between subtle and dramatic. For the most part, the layout is wide open but there are some trees to be wary of as well as some rough areas. Water plays a prominent role on the course, coming into play on 12 of the 18 holes. Turtle Creek's idyllic charm flows from the course to the clubhouse, which incorporates a stone building from 1835.

Great Conditions for the time of Year!
Considering all the rain we've had lately, the course was in great shape! Only one muddy fairway. Some tees are being repaired and greens were in great shape except for where people forget they are supposed to fix their ballmarks!
Course was poorly maintained, holes very tight together, almost got hit with balls from other holes several times, extremely slow pace, our round took a little over 5 hours… Very over priced for what you get
Value for money.
Turtle Creek was the surprise of the courses played this season. It was challenging yet playable for the occasional player like me.
Greens could do with some care as there were many ball marks. Seems that some players don’t know the etiquette of golf.
Will definitely be on my list for next season. May also play one more time this season.
Nice course
Course layout is a little bit weird but some nice holes. I would play again.
Played Turtle Creek on a Friday afternoon. Course was in relatively hood condition with some nice views and pretty foliage throughout the course.
However, there are some areas needing improvement. The most glaring would be the greens. All of them, even though in relatively good condition, are extremely slow. The grass really needs to be a lot shorter to increase speed and consistency. The other thing we all found was that most of the tee blocks were like rocks. It was extremely difficult to put one’s tee in. We played off the green tee blocks. I’m not sure if this applied to the other blocks as well. Also, no beverage cart or marshals on the course. Beverage cart is self explanatory but a course marshall would really improve the speed rate of play.
All in all, not a bad track and great value for the money. But if improvements to the points I’ve mentioned were made this could be an even better course.
