About
Laid across rolling countryside atop the Niagara Escarpment, Turtle Creek Golf uses the natural undulations of the landscape to its full advantage. The hilly terrain combined with the rocky outcroppings scattered throughout add to the scenic nature of the golf course. The elevation of the terrain shifts between subtle and dramatic. For the most part, the layout is wide open but there are some trees to be wary of as well as some rough areas. Water plays a prominent role on the course, coming into play on 12 of the 18 holes. Turtle Creek's idyllic charm flows from the course to the clubhouse, which incorporates a stone building from 1835.

Excellent value
It’s a interesting course , with a lot of blind shots to the green, the par 3’s were generally quite easy , hole 10 and 14 are extremely difficult, conditions are good , pace of play is good , no beverage on course , no cart service , the rats were slow being returned which slowed most afternoon tee times .
Rainy fay
Played through light rain this Friday and random sprinkling after 9:30AM. Sprinkle system was on during light rain but turn off whenever golfers are on each course (low attendance due to light rain). Friendly staff check in us regularly to ensure sprinkler turned off before we tee off at next hole.
Challenging layout
The course layout will challenge your accuracy and club selection. The grounds are hard even after rain so you need to factor that into your approach. Landing some greens can be difficult because of the bounce. Course management is key to success.
