Decent Course, High Cost

The course is nice and well maintained for a city course but the price per round is extremely high. even with a discount provided by Golfnow I feel that you would better off playing other courses with a similar price point as you would get more value for your money.

Great course, great staff and beautiful elevations.

Great course. Right amount of sandtraps and doglegs gave me a challenge to use every club. The greens were in amazing condition. I average 40 to 50 games a year at various clubs this is one of my favourite courses. My last game was right after a thunderstorm that lasted for a day and the drainage system was amazing. one hour after the rain the course was mostly dry and very playable.

Good Course, great conditions

The course is good, good conditions, good variaty of holes.

The only downside when I played there was the pace of play, the group ahead was extremly slow and the marshal did not do anything about them. at the turn we passed them and when we finished they were 3 holes behind us! So get the marshal to do their job.

Braeben - very good course; decent value; like being in a helicopter

I have played Braeben a about 4 times in the past, going back as far as 2005. It is still quite a unique course, given that it is built on a landfil and being surrounded by suburbia. Hole designs are quite good on the front nine, and the par-3 7th is a really interesting hole, given that it is quite different from the rest of the links-y course. The odd 15th, formerly the course's 18th is quite unique with its dramatic drop from fairway to the green. Not as much thescue as they used to as I am sure it used to beat up the casual golfers or beginners who played there in the past. I am sure it has helped pace of play. Overall, a very good public course.

The course is built on a landfill, and feels very exposed to conditions.

It's a pretty tight course, with quite a bit of elevations throughout. Though artificial in the layout, it's still a fun course to play on. At the top of the course - namely holes 9 thr 11 - it's the highest point overlooking the city below, thus quite windy.
