Golfer Reviews
Too early yet
I didn't expect a lot becuz real spring wasn't there yet, but the overall condition was disappointing. Lots of swamps and puddles, flooded bunkers, fairway-like greens, un-repaired divots and ballmarks... Carts should stay on the cart path, which was extremely annoying.
Should be closed this early
Absolutely poor condition, grey old grass everywhere,no new grass .green fees too high for this time of the year.
Played cheeper @ Indian wells,California with perfect conditions.
Really good course
This is a really nice course, I played 1 week after season opening so the conditions weren't ideal but pretty dry considering the winter. In prime season this course would be excellent. Course plays fairly tight but fair, water inplay on 1 hole only but losts of sand traps.
Very good greens considering what we experienced elsewhere this year
Braeben is always a fun track and the it's the perfect moderate challenge for an early spring round. You can spray the ball almost anywhere and find it easily because the rough is pretty much non existent. You'll get many looks at birdie and likely convert a few of them because the greens are very true in comparison to many other local courses.
Good course
It's our first time to play this course and would like to play it again in the summer. The rolling hills makes it challenging. The condition of the course is great and well marked.

Great course got to use all clubs
i enjoy playing this course, once you play it you try even harder the 2nd time around to lower your score (hard work)
very hilly
good course a little hill but fun staff very friendly
Me James curran ,full value for money staff very friendly ,course in excellent condition
Good condition greens very fast ,sits on top of hill at points can see all over misdissauga
This course is right in the city, great location.
most of the fairways are narrow with tall grass on both sides. the greens are well maintained.
Overpriced and interesting
Braeben is an interesting course, but not always interesting in the ways you would like. For most holes, from the tee you have no idea where the pin is, which gets really tiring. The greens are fast, tricked out, and in terrible shape, which was my main gripe with the course. The setting is a little surreal - you really do feel like you are perched on a former municipal landfill with a commanding, if not actually attractive, view of Mississauga in all its box store sprawling glory. I guess it's a clever use of space, and there are a few great holes, but the course is way overpriced for what you get. Municipal courses in Toronto are twenty dollars cheaper and in better shape.
Great Value
This course provides an amazing view of Mississauga while being challenging enough to keep it interesting. I don't think there is a better deal out there for the price.
Nice course
Played it on a Saturday afternoon, with a bit of a breeze. The course was nice and since we booked it on Golfnow and had a discount coupon, we only paid $45 with cart. I would recommend it at that price but unfortunately the regular rate is around $80. The course is not worth the full ticket price but if you can get on for under $50 it's worth it. Challenging and great views of city.
This course is as close to Irish and Scottish links, as we have around
With the wind blowing and a damp day, I felt like I was back in Ireland. The fescue was cut down to a level that made the course much more playable.
BraeBen
For the first time ever I had to produce my GolfNow confirmation before I could check in. The guy in the pro shop also moved out tee time up 20 min without telling us. For some reason, BraeBen does not like GolfNow.
As for the course, it is a lot of fun to play, but you need to play it a couple times to understand where to go on some of the holes (blind shots)
Great representation of a heathlands course.
Lots of fairway undulation. Obvious elevation changes makes for a fun round of club selection and testing yardages both uphill and down. A challenging track when the wind blows, rewarding the straight hitter. 7th hole a pleasant surprise. Some blind shots but not too excessive. Greens in great shape with a good speed; some tricky due to the hilly terrain. Shortage of rakes in some bunker installations. Overall, worth annual return visits.
Recommended for the avid golfer and Academy course for the beginner.
Great DEAL! BUT Only got to play 13 holes because of speed of players ahead of us
The Course was great and the deal from golf now was even better.
The BIG problem was that there was ALOT of waiting around as the players ahead of us we very slow.
We only got to finish 13 holes before it got dark.
Excellent Course in the Heart of Mississauga
Excellent facility. Not too busy, great condition for a public course. Beautiful architecture and has great views of the city. Be prepared for windy play, as the course is on top of a hill. Definitely want to repeat.
