About
Located in a spectacular natural setting against the backdrop of the Niagara River whirlpool and gorge, this magnificent and challenging championship course was designed by the legendary golf architect Stanley Thompson. Owned and operated by The Niagara Parks Commission since 1951, Whirlpool is considered as one of the Top 100 Courses in Canada.
Directions: From Toronto: Approach Niagara Falls on the QEW. Just after crossing the St. Catharines Skyway, take the 405 exit towards the Queenston-Lewiston Bridge to the USA. Just before the bridge, take the last exit to the Niagara Parkway. Turn right off the ramp onto the Niagara Parkway. Whirlpool Golf Course is 4km down the road on the right hand side

A beautiful course in great condition.
Haven’t played Whirlpool in over 24 years and it did not disappoint. A beautify layout with lots of challenging shots!

Always a Pleasure
Went as a twosome at 3pm. Foursome in front of us, but we hardly waited at all. Was a nice pace of play accomplished in under 4 hours. Might be a little too much clover in the rough, but the tee blocks, fairways and greens were perfect. One of my all time faves.
Greens had been severely cross-cut, as well as, aerated...
Better control of downed leaves would have also been appreciated...
Late day it was open still great!
Been wanting to play here for a longtime, it didn’t disappoint. Friendly staff, great layout. Greens had bee punched a week or two before; it’s November so not unexpected. Course was closing midday for the season Will make a point of playing there in peak season next year.
Classic Niagara Gem
Whirlpool is a great track and and offered a challenge from any tee deck. Played late in the season greens were aerated and top dressed, but still in great shape
