About
Located in a spectacular natural setting against the backdrop of the Niagara River whirlpool and gorge, this magnificent and challenging championship course was designed by the legendary golf architect Stanley Thompson. Owned and operated by The Niagara Parks Commission since 1951, Whirlpool is considered as one of the Top 100 Courses in Canada.
Directions: From Toronto: Approach Niagara Falls on the QEW. Just after crossing the St. Catharines Skyway, take the 405 exit towards the Queenston-Lewiston Bridge to the USA. Just before the bridge, take the last exit to the Niagara Parkway. Turn right off the ramp onto the Niagara Parkway. Whirlpool Golf Course is 4km down the road on the right hand side

Best cart girl
Play a lot of courses in the area and the young lady running the beverage cart on Saturday afternoon provided the best service I’ve had on any course in a long time. She was around early and often and kept us hydrated.
Course is in great shape and pace of play was good for a busy afternoon tee time.
Always love playing this course. A little to expensive for me but thank god I got a hot deal price
Noisy Helicopter Path
I can't review this course without stating the noise from the helicopters taking off and landing nearby is very loud on most holes near the clubhouse. It's a beautiful layout. Tees are in great shape. Greens are medium fast and true. Many of the fairways have more brown fungus spots than green grass, but it's still very playable. Pace of play was a little slow but we didn't see any marshalls. All in all, a good day, but too noisy for us.

Really nice course, one of the best that we have played. We enjoyed the day and would it again.

A very nice layout with generous fairways. Very nice condition and we enjoyed the round.
Niagara Parks has the course in fantastic shape
The course is in excellent shape and the greens are in superb shape too.
This is our second year playing the course and it hasn’t failed to impress.
The layout is a pleasure to play and the elevated greens are a nice touch
The marshalling was great and on top of the speed of play but on this showery day there were few groups out at our tee off time and we completed play in 4 hrs. 15 min., a very respectable time.
