About
Located in a spectacular natural setting against the backdrop of the Niagara River whirlpool and gorge, this magnificent and challenging championship course was designed by the legendary golf architect Stanley Thompson. Owned and operated by The Niagara Parks Commission since 1951, Whirlpool is considered as one of the Top 100 Courses in Canada.
Directions: From Toronto: Approach Niagara Falls on the QEW. Just after crossing the St. Catharines Skyway, take the 405 exit towards the Queenston-Lewiston Bridge to the USA. Just before the bridge, take the last exit to the Niagara Parkway. Turn right off the ramp onto the Niagara Parkway. Whirlpool Golf Course is 4km down the road on the right hand side

Not bad for $30
Its fall golf so not perfect conditions. The course was in ok shape, greens a bit furry, fairways had some rough patches.. pace was great just over 3hrs. Staff very friendly.
Very enjoyable.
Great shape and beautiful greens. Pretty open course. Mid November play and they have removed pretty much all the leaves

Thanks for raking the bunkers . Most courses are charging a premium and dont even maintain their bunkers.....BUT you guys do and thanks for doing a simple small thing that means a lot , along with reasonable rates

Fall Golf at its Best
Always enjoy playing this course. See a few deer along the back nine was an added bonus.
No complaints, greens were smooth, fairways soft, leaves on the course manageable.
Whirlpool
Course was great. If the champion tees were out would have made more or a challenge. Pass of play was quite bad. First course I have ever seen that has expected play in 4.5 hours. Over all quite good
Niagara Defined
Classic Niagara layout, amazing views, well maintained. Can be slow on weekends in the summer, and the helicopters on the front few holes are a pain. Otherwise, friendly for walking and very enjoyable round.
Recently Aerated
Whirlpool is always a joy to play, the layout is challenging and never gets boring. Greens were just aerated but we were aware of that prior to play but since we paid a reduced rate because of the late season it was more than worth it. I will always recommend this course to anyone as it remains one of the best courses in the area if not the entire province to play.
