About
Located in a spectacular natural setting against the backdrop of the Niagara River whirlpool and gorge, this magnificent and challenging championship course was designed by the legendary golf architect Stanley Thompson. Owned and operated by The Niagara Parks Commission since 1951, Whirlpool is considered as one of the Top 100 Courses in Canada.
Directions: From Toronto: Approach Niagara Falls on the QEW. Just after crossing the St. Catharines Skyway, take the 405 exit towards the Queenston-Lewiston Bridge to the USA. Just before the bridge, take the last exit to the Niagara Parkway. Turn right off the ramp onto the Niagara Parkway. Whirlpool Golf Course is 4km down the road on the right hand side

Great course
Great course with extra long straight fairways and amazing views. Great for skilled golfers.
This is an older course. It wasn't what I thought it would be. While the course conditions were pretty good it was too open for me. Only a few interesting/pretty holes.
If you like parkland style of course its good.
Tough, windy and bumpy
A nice round in the howling wind. Course was in decent shape but it's been better. Greens were a bit bumpy and Slow.
Great Golf
This has become one of my favorite places to play. The course is well laid out and forgiving of most of my golfing sins. The staff are always friendly and professional. The greens are a work of art and the fairways a dream. Frankly there is nothing to complain about.
the course is well maintained. it lies in a conservation area. they play extreme attention to the eco biology habitat and animal species that surround the golf course and at their other 2 locations in niagara falls ont, all are run by the niagara falls parks commission , all three are beautifully maintained and a pleasure to play, if your not a long hitter be prepared to play a strategic game . teed off at 8:03 and hit the 19th hole in 4 hrs and 10 minutes. had 1 cart and other 2 walked. booking through golf now saved me about 40% off regular weekday rate of $69.99 plus$ 18.00 and hst.. paid $60 cad all in . It had been over 6 years since i played here last . but it seemed like it was yesterday. Just as friendly and accommodating as ever even during these times we live in with covid.
