About
Located in a spectacular natural setting against the backdrop of the Niagara River whirlpool and gorge, this magnificent and challenging championship course was designed by the legendary golf architect Stanley Thompson. Owned and operated by The Niagara Parks Commission since 1951, Whirlpool is considered as one of the Top 100 Courses in Canada.
Directions: From Toronto: Approach Niagara Falls on the QEW. Just after crossing the St. Catharines Skyway, take the 405 exit towards the Queenston-Lewiston Bridge to the USA. Just before the bridge, take the last exit to the Niagara Parkway. Turn right off the ramp onto the Niagara Parkway. Whirlpool Golf Course is 4km down the road on the right hand side

Not my first time at Whirlpool but my friends first time and we both enjoyed the course. Well maintained very friendly staff

Awesome course
Beautiful course, grounds/greens kept in perfect condition. Can’t wait to go back!!
Poor Drainage
Mother nature ruined the day. Course was cart path only, and needed to be. Puddles of standing water everywhere except on the greens and in the bunkers, which were both in great condition. Greens had been cut and rolled that morning and were superb. Bunkers had also been groomed that morning. Sad that the course was so wet though. Stanley's courses are wonderful.
An all time favourite!

Birthday golf
Thanks so much for the wonderful day. The staff, course and facilities are outstanding.
Nice to experience the restaurant again. The rain held off until the 17th hole, but we played thru 👀🥰🏌️♀️
The rough could be better maintained. The rough was extremely difficult to find your ball. This led to some slow play all around. It is a public course. You are getting every handicap of golfer. If everyone in the foursome sees a ball land in an area and no one could find it makes for longer rounds all together. One good thing was I found a lot of other people’s ball while helping our foursome look. Really slows play.
Challenging but Noisy
Unfortunately the location of the course so close to the helicopter landing zone for the tourist helicopter rides was very distracting if you’re looking for peaceful setting for a round of golf. The staff were great and the course was challenging enough.
