Greens were in great shape but small and difficult to read. Great course in all ways for the price..
Great Day
Nice course, although with the heat, a little dry and burned in places. Great Day overall. Good value for money. Nice variation among holes. Overall, course is lots of fun. Favourite course of one of our group.
Somehow 5 guys suddenly showed up ahead of us (at hole #14) and things slowed to a crawl . We (2) had been moving quickly, but that added 1/2 hr to our game. Course info online and at site is dated.
Diamond in the rough.
Good value, reasonable challenge. Very small greens but put reasonably well. could be a little better maintained overall. Rough is deep in spots right off fairway and can be hard to find ball. Best in area for the price!
An impressive course
We enjoyed our round of golf along with this well designed course. We arrived a half hour early and were allowed to tee off immediately. Breezed though 6 holes and caught up to a foursome that were part of a tournament. We were a twosome and were waived though, by three foursome groups. We were happy and finished our 18 hole round in 3.5 hrs
All in all it was a nice day and had fun on this not too challenging course

Good day at Oakland Greens
Course is in good shape with only a couple of early holes with ground under repair.
Greens were excellent and putted true.
Enjoyed a fast paced round, less than four hours.
Worth a Trip to Norwood
Well established course with a dated club house. Fairways have patchy weeds; greens are a bit shaggy but provided a true roll. Several greens have huge slopes, adding to the challenge.
Great variety of holes, long and short. Several ponds and water courses. A lovely rural setting.
A few hills with scenic vistas.
Worth the price.
Feels like home.
Friendly! Always feel they're glad you came. Never overbooked. Lots of space.
Reasonably forgiving but some challenges. A couple very long par 5's.
My favourite in this area especially for the money.
Fun course
Oakland Greens is a good test. Great variety of holes for any level of player. They have made a good start in upgrading bunkers to white sand but not all of the bunkers have been dealt with. Fixing the few remaining ones would be an important uptick for this course. Some of the par 5s are on the short side which is good for scoring for solid shooters.
Great day
The course was in good condition. The sun was shining. I couldn't ask for a better day. I did notice another comment about yardage markers. Note the globe cedars are the 150 markers for the course.
I will be back for sure.
The course itself is in good condition, great staff, but if you don't have a range finder, you'll have a hard time finding the yardage. Markers are not visible.
