Batteaux Creek Golf Club

About
Situated amidst the scenic Georgian Triangle, Batteaux Creek Golf Club stretches across 250 acres of rolling hills that are sprinkled with lakes and ponds. The challenging, 18-hole links layout has many risk-and-reward opportunities that appeal to players of all skill levels. The greens are undulating and quite large, allowing for numerous ball placement choices, and the landing areas are generous but the middle is not always the best shot. There are bentgrass fairways and numerous bunker’s strategically placed throughout in addition to the water hazards. One of Batteaux Creek Golf Club’s most interesting holes is the par-5 17th, which is a dogleg left that features a pond on the left that filters into a creek that then crosses the hole diagonally from 150 yards in.

Walkable and challenging
This is a beautiful course to play. You are in the woods and well separated from the other fairways. A very walkable course and with water in play on almost every hole and five tee boxes it is challenging to both the low and high handicappers. The greens keepers do a marvellous job in maintaining the course in every weather condition. Try it, it may become your new favourite course.
Great value
The course was in excellent condition, and the rough was kept at just the right length to be challenging but not impossible to get out of. Multiple tees to accommodate all levels of golfer. Greens are undulating , just enough to need good reads. My only criticism is that there is no hole layout on the scorecards or at the tees, so as a first-time player it is a bit of a guessing game as to how to hit off the tee on some of the par 4’s and 5’s. Overall, excellent value and I would play again.
Batteaux Creek
This is an excellent links layout with great views of Blue Mountains. A great value on under par.
Amazing course for the price.
This is an amazing course for the price. We got it on a Hot Deal and were a tiny bit disappointed because it was raining when we arrived. The course was in amazing condition, the tee blocks were great and the greens were nice and fast even though they were a little bit wet. We played Cranberry the day before and would rate this course much higher and would play again when in the area.
Friendly staff
Rolled in and was greeted by a very friendly fellow who put our clubs on the cart. Directed us inside for check in. Clubhouse has a medium sized comfortable dining room where we had a quick lunch. The course was challenging but fair great bunker locations and a couple holes needed a lay up. Liked it even in crazy windy conditions. Sometimes it helped, sometimes it was a good challenge. It was busy but it moved along.
Great links style course
Great experience!
From pulling in to drop off the clubs, checking in and kitchen staff, everyone was fantastic.
Course is in great shape with the greens being very receptive and rolled true.
Job well done
Pace of play is questionable. Had to call clubhouse for Marshall. Not on course.
great track
all was excellent except some traps had very little sand test with your feet before hand.
Good value
Stand-alone golf course on flat land with greens and fairways in good shape. Several tee shots over scenic wetlands. Staff and members are welcoming. Good value for a round of golf.
Excellent Course - Better than Cranberry
I normally play Cranberry Golf Course when i come here but wanted to play Batteaux for a change. I was extrememly impressed. Beautiful course and great conditions. I would choose this course over Cranberry again.
Well maintained
Very good greens, sand traps were raked and fairways in good shape. Good value.
Great experience
This was our second trip to this course. We booked through GolfNow. From the moment we arrived until our final putt we truly enjoyed our round at Batteaux Creek. We arrived early and asked if we could get out ahead of our booked time and they were more than accommodating. I played from the blues and the course was challenging. We found it in great shape; the greens were rolling nicely and the overall shape was pristine. We joined up with 2 members for the last 3 holes and they stayed it was unusually busy. Pace of play wasn’t too bad. Each cart had a course booklet to help guide you which was a nice feature. They have a very nice putting green as well as a chipping area and driving range.. The pro shop and clubhouse are very nice and clean. Found the beers a bit pricey but all in all it was a great experience.
Batteaux creek
Very rough condition. Greens had patches of extremely rough ground and chunks of dirt all over them. Very upsetting considering how much we paid for our foursome ($300). Would not recommend.
This commentary is completely misleading , the greens were sanded that week....right now conditions are A1.
