Golfer Reviews
Good but no longer great
This course is nowhere near as pristine as it was even a couple of years ago. Cart paths have deteriorated to the point that they are full of pot holes in many areas. The rough is not really maintained well anymore and their is to shop us now in a large shed away from the main facility.
They want to be a spa/golf course/winery/MTB facility and clearly the golf portion of their business is being neglected.
Still a fun course but not for the $110/player they want.
Disappointing
Played this course weekly for years under the previous owners for $50-60 now $110. $12 for 1 beer, no wonder nobody was on the course. Beer cart girl, starter and check in girls weee very friendly.

Course is fading away
This course could be one of the premier courses in Ontario due to the topography and layout but unfortunately it’s in such bad shape. The tee boxes are rock hard, greens are brown and the trails for mountain biking they created are running dirt onto the fairways. Such a shame.
One of the best run courses in Ontario
top-notch service, this place has really stepped up for the golfers.
Always a good time.
Peaceful oasis just outside of the city.
1st round at Hockly Valley
Very Nice course and scenery, will play there again in the fall.
Overpriced, but still enjoyable.
I snagged a deal rate but when green fees have increased year after year and it seems overall quality of the course has declined. Doesn’t make much sense. It’s still a fun course with scenic holes and unique hole layouts but far over priced. For $100+ I expect at the very least tee boxes, fairways, and greens to be well above average. That was not the case…
