Rebel Creek Golf Club
About
Rebel Creek Golf Club was carved from a scenic landscape of rolling hills and native wetlands. This 18-hole championship layout was designed with public play in mind, making it both player friendly and entertaining. Although it is a public golf course, Rebel Creek G.C. strives to offer the experience of a private club with a full-service clubhouse and practice facilities including a putting green with practice bunker. The golf course features a good amount of challenges including strategically placed bunkers, water hazards that come into play on a few holes, and the occasional uneven lie, but it is still accessible for beginners and intermediate players.

disappointed in mgmt
really enjoy this course however tee off was 20 mins behind scheduled tee off so unable to complete 18 holes due to sunset. Had tee off been on time we could have completed.
Rebel Creek
Course was in great shape; would definitely play it more if the fees were lower. Not a fan of the finishing hole (front and back).
Fun round of golf
This course is a nicely designed course. Forgiving on most holes but a lot of challenges along the way. I would definitely play this course again.
Always good playin at the Rebel
I like this place. Good condition. People just have to remember to fix ballmarks on these nice greens.
Good round
Course was in good condition, although many players were not fixing ball marks as the greens were covered with fresh scars.
They could use a marshall on this course to do something about the pace of play. Although our time wasn't terribly slow, the group in front was a hole behind and we would find then standing on a tee waiting to play with no one in sight in front of them.
Course is not what it used to be. Thanks Golf North for ruining another course.
The pace of play was extremely slow (over 5hrs) and not a single marshall on the course. A good portion of bunkers were under repair or just poor condition and the greens were cover in ball and cleat marks. Made it difficult to sink a putt.
Rebel Creek Petersburg in July
Outstanding golf course and facilty. Conditions excellent. By far the best of Golfnorth.
one of my favorites
lots of tee block choices...something for every type of layer
Nice Course
Course was in excellent shape, but for the above average golfer, play it from golds.
no service after 5pm?
Played this course twice in 2 weeks, both times after 5pm on a Tuesday. Snack bar closed, bar closed, no beer cart. Lucky we each brought 1 water. We really like this course, service at the pro shop was very good/friendly but they should at least keep someone at the snack shop till 7pm!!
Also, it would be good to have pictures of the hole layouts on the scorecard or at the tee off area
GREAT COURSE GREAT DAY
ALWAYS A PLEASURE TO PLAY REBEL CREEK,
5 HOUR ROUND..PACE OF PLAY A BIT SLOW.
COURSE CONDITION WAS GREAT.
Return to Rebel
My first round at Rebel Creek in about 3 years. Course has matured nicely with trees providing better definition on some holes. Fairways and greens were in good condition. A number of fairway bunkers were GUR. They obviously had not been maintained in some time, which seemed odd as the course fashions itself as a higher end facility. Staff were on the course gradually bringing back into proper shape. Apart from the bunkers, everything was good.
Pretty views
This course was a lot easier than it looks in the pictures. It is pretty wide open on most holes. Didn't find that the water came into play too much even though the pictures look like it does. Course was in good shape however I don't believe it is worth the money charged to play there
Not quite there yet
Played Rebel several times. The conditions were the worst I have ever seen. I understand it is relatively early on in our golf season but the Golf Now rate was $84.99. I was fortunate to get a Hot Rate of $35.99 which made it a bit more tolerable. Weeds everywhere, bunkers were either under repair or hard as a rock and the greens were very slow. Hopefully this is a temporary situation because the course is challenging and enjoyable to play. Check conditions before paying full price!
GREAT COURSE
EXCELLENT DAY PICKED TO PLAY AND WAS JOINED BY 3 SAME CLASS OF GOLFERS SO HAD A GOOD TIME
4 HOUR ROUND AT A CASUAL PACE. GREENS WERE SMOOTH AND FAIRLY FAST TO MY LIKING
nice course
Course was in very good shape for the most part. It was an enjoyable round except for the slow play. We cut our round short because of a little rain but mostly because of the slow play.
What was one a gem in the KW region, seeing the course in this kind of shape was very disappointing
Booked late afternoon the end of the September and expected to get in a full round without issue. Unknown to me at the time we were at the end of the conestoga alumni golf tournament and the pace of play was horrible. Starting on number 10 the first hole took almost 15 minutes along after hitting our first tee shot, the wait was crazy, arriving at number 11 there were 3 groups on the tee, using some quick thinking we played 5 holes on the front nine (that was empty) then skipped back in for the last 8 holes of the back nine and first couple of holes on the front we didn't get to play. Had we not done this there would not have been any chance we could have completed the round. As it was we were pushing 5 hours which included the 5 holes we played in about an hour. This is not a difficult track that you cannot move around in average time of under 4.5 hours but no chance today.
Ignoring the pace as that often is out of the hands of the course, the bunkers were unplayable, if you found any sand it was like cement and most of the traps were obliterated completely. Over grown, drainage marks/scars that look like they survived a tsunami, extremely disappointed, these used to have amazing bunkers that you wouldn't mind finding yourself in. Today it was not just punishing but unfair.
The beverage cart was around a couple of times and she was pleasant, starter and check in was also good with no complaints. Greens were good, well used (and they showed it) but they putted fair if you didn't catch an un-repaired ball mark you happened to miss during the cleanup of your line.
If it wasn't for the deal I paid for the round I would have been extremely disappointed.
Bring your game
My golf bud and I had Rebel Creek on our radar for a while, but it took a Fall deal on GolfNow for us to get over the normally higher green fee. We found the course to be very well designed, from both an esthetic and shot values perspective. The greens were surprisingly quick for late October, several of which share the multi-level characteristics that RT Jones Jr is known for. Lots of elevation changes. Good shots were uniformly rewarded, and there were enough holes where a wayward ball would add only one stroke to the card, but more than a few were well defended. This is especially true for #13 (bad luck?), where the fairway is the only way. Overall, a smart upscale public facility.
Revel in Rebel Creek
Booked this course for a fall treat and boy was it ever!. The course is pretty as a picture with all the surrounding colours. The fairways were in great shape and the greens were fantastic and tough. Different elevations kept it very interesting. The back nine was quite different from the front so it gave you a very different feel and kept it interesting. The only blemish were the bunkers. They suffered from a lot of recent rains and weren't up to the measurement of the rest of the course. Would definitely be back to play this great course.
Excellent course
The course is very well maintained. The staff there are very friendly. It's the best course in the region.
