About
Rebel Creek Golf Club was carved from a scenic landscape of rolling hills and native wetlands. This 18-hole championship layout was designed with public play in mind, making it both player friendly and entertaining. Although it is a public golf course, Rebel Creek G.C. strives to offer the experience of a private club with a full-service clubhouse and practice facilities including a putting green with practice bunker. The golf course features a good amount of challenges including strategically placed bunkers, water hazards that come into play on a few holes, and the occasional uneven lie, but it is still accessible for beginners and intermediate players.

Pace of play and beverage cart
We T off 14.15 in afternoon 2 hrs 30 min front nine. 3 hrs 45 min back nine
Lead group taking for ever three groups waiting on each t
No Marshall to help out
Also we brought plenty of water and a sandwich but most of that was gone way before the end and no beverage girl period after 2.30
Course conditions were terrible
The whole course was extremely wet. There has been no rain for over a week so this was done by the grounds crew. Fairways were saturated and green were so wet that they were damaged and in poor shape. Even the course was extremely wet, the grounds crew continued to turn sprinklers on as we were playing.
1st Time from the Tips
This course can play a lot easier than it appears on the score card. From the tips the slope is 139, but the fairways are pretty forgiving. Water only comes into play on a few holes, but is very manageable. Greens were in great shape, some pin placements can get very difficult, but overall a very playable course from 6950 yards; even for a 10-14 handicapper.
Great Day of Golf
I had a fanatic time at Rebel Creek
We received a bucket of balls for the driving range, some chipping practice & putting practice before our round od golf
The course is beautiful and in great shape
Best round of golf I have had in a while
I would recommend this to all golfers who want a great day of golf
disappointed in mgmt
really enjoy this course however tee off was 20 mins behind scheduled tee off so unable to complete 18 holes due to sunset. Had tee off been on time we could have completed.
Rebel Creek
Course was in great shape; would definitely play it more if the fees were lower. Not a fan of the finishing hole (front and back).
Fun round of golf
This course is a nicely designed course. Forgiving on most holes but a lot of challenges along the way. I would definitely play this course again.
Always good playin at the Rebel
I like this place. Good condition. People just have to remember to fix ballmarks on these nice greens.
Good round
Course was in good condition, although many players were not fixing ball marks as the greens were covered with fresh scars.
They could use a marshall on this course to do something about the pace of play. Although our time wasn't terribly slow, the group in front was a hole behind and we would find then standing on a tee waiting to play with no one in sight in front of them.
Course is not what it used to be. Thanks Golf North for ruining another course.
The pace of play was extremely slow (over 5hrs) and not a single marshall on the course. A good portion of bunkers were under repair or just poor condition and the greens were cover in ball and cleat marks. Made it difficult to sink a putt.
Rebel Creek Petersburg in July
Outstanding golf course and facilty. Conditions excellent. By far the best of Golfnorth.
one of my favorites
lots of tee block choices...something for every type of layer
no service after 5pm?
Played this course twice in 2 weeks, both times after 5pm on a Tuesday. Snack bar closed, bar closed, no beer cart. Lucky we each brought 1 water. We really like this course, service at the pro shop was very good/friendly but they should at least keep someone at the snack shop till 7pm!!
Also, it would be good to have pictures of the hole layouts on the scorecard or at the tee off area
Return to Rebel
My first round at Rebel Creek in about 3 years. Course has matured nicely with trees providing better definition on some holes. Fairways and greens were in good condition. A number of fairway bunkers were GUR. They obviously had not been maintained in some time, which seemed odd as the course fashions itself as a higher end facility. Staff were on the course gradually bringing back into proper shape. Apart from the bunkers, everything was good.
Pretty views
This course was a lot easier than it looks in the pictures. It is pretty wide open on most holes. Didn't find that the water came into play too much even though the pictures look like it does. Course was in good shape however I don't believe it is worth the money charged to play there
Not quite there yet
Played Rebel several times. The conditions were the worst I have ever seen. I understand it is relatively early on in our golf season but the Golf Now rate was $84.99. I was fortunate to get a Hot Rate of $35.99 which made it a bit more tolerable. Weeds everywhere, bunkers were either under repair or hard as a rock and the greens were very slow. Hopefully this is a temporary situation because the course is challenging and enjoyable to play. Check conditions before paying full price!
GREAT COURSE
EXCELLENT DAY PICKED TO PLAY AND WAS JOINED BY 3 SAME CLASS OF GOLFERS SO HAD A GOOD TIME
4 HOUR ROUND AT A CASUAL PACE. GREENS WERE SMOOTH AND FAIRLY FAST TO MY LIKING
nice course
Course was in very good shape for the most part. It was an enjoyable round except for the slow play. We cut our round short because of a little rain but mostly because of the slow play.
